We stayed in room 116 - 3 bedroom townhouse. The property was excellent and spacious for our family of 7! The location was great and we’d definitely book again.

The bathroom was a concern. The shower head sprayed into the exhaust fan, which was inside the shower. The air-con wasn’t on when we arrived, on a 40+ day this would have been nice. The mezzanine was intolerable for sleep - we put the mattresses downstairs for the entire stay, as the air-con didn’t reach. Also needs a cutlery top up. Nothing we couldn’t manage though - it was a great stay overall and we’ll be back!

Was a lot happier once we were paid for an upgrade.

The accommodation we actually booked and paid for was basic, however, was shocked at how basic it actually was. It was disgraceful, I did tell the receptionist I would not have housed my dog in the room that was allocated. We paid to upgrade to what they had available and to be fair was not that more expensive. Once happy with the accommodation we had a fantastic stay. Would recommend, however, DON’T GO BUDGET!!!!!

Have been staying atPotshot for man years, great central location, easy walk go central shopping centre.

Rooms are looking old and tired, well overdue for a refurbishment. Some items (mop, dustpan, toaster) were broken, replaced when we told reception, but housekeeping should have noticed. Lounge suite is very old and looked uncleaned for ages. Outdoor furniture was dirty. Love the Potshot but it really needs an upgrade for cost.

I stayed in a private room and a dorm. The private room was clean and spacious. Nothing bad to say about it. The common areas are nice as well. People at reception are nice.

The dorm was disgusting. I don’t think it gets cleaned often. Don’t know if the cleaning person is to blame though. Very difficult to clean when people are living there and there stuff is literally everywhere. I don’t think they should allow people to live there. It makes it really uncomfortable for visitors. The people were smoking weed non stop in front of the door so the entire room smelled like it. When i went to reception to mention this they didn’t seem to really care. Nothing was done about this.

This is a nicely laid out resort with lots of space and loads of options across various accommodations. Our room was spacious and comfortable, quiet and nicely appointed for what we required.

Wifi is only available in the common and bar areas. In this day and age this is poor and uncommon. I get that this is a ploy to make guests to stay within the resort to eat and drink etc but when your business survives on tourists and people who are away from home, wifi should be readily available. If you provide a good service in your restaurant/bar (which Pot Shot certainly does) the guests will stay.

Restaurant and bar was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Modest accommodation and great location. It's all we needed while out and about all day, everyday along Cape Range National Park and Ningaloo Coast and Reef.

Our room was right by the Friday night entertainment HOWEVER, we were so spent from our day adventures we feel sleep like a babies with a belly full of milk.

The hostel is in a great spot in town with most things being a 20 minute walk away. Having the pub, pool and restaurant within the precinct was a great way to socialise with others and get to know the area. The rooms were big with plenty of room to have everyone's bags without overcrowding. Having a fridge in the room was great to keep food close by. The hostel is also super close to both IGAs which made it easy to pick up supplies. The bathroom was cleaned daily which was great when each dorm gets its own bathroom.

The kitchen is in need of an upgrade. The intensity of the gas burners was pretty poor and 4 gas plates were down, which mean meal times were crowded. The check out time is also a bit early, would love it if it could be 10am. Floors in dorms could be kept cleaner - the layer of dust and dirt on the ground was constant.

The resort is within walking distance of the shopping centre, many of the cafes, restaurants - others are a 3 to 4km round trip walks. If you didnt have a car you could walk to most places in town but you would need a car or a transport to get to the attractions. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable. Pool and restaurants and liquor store all on site

Think the bed needs to be moved occasionally to sweep and clean underneath Would have been great to have a breakfast menu and a small clothes airer to dry your towels and bather on as I think many people will be using those regularly during the stay

Bit pricey but so was literally everything in Exmouth. Definitely been taking feedback on board based on past reviews. (Standard king) Room had a microwave, mini fridge,Tv, kettle, cutlery, some teatowels, TP, 2 towels, small dining table, coffee, tea, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Parking everywhere for those who have a car. Oh and they had beach towels for use too. Building with the standard king rooms best for peace and quiet. If you stood outside the bar was so noisy even though it was 100m away, , if you are happy to walk for 10minutes there were plenty of restaurants/food options. pools were tiny compared to photos but not many people used them. It was close to IGA which was very useful and had bars/restaurants adjoined. Very easy access for the tours.

It was far from the town beach. Pizzas at restaurant were too expensive to bother ordering. I'm not paying $30 for a basic pizza. The surrounding area was pretty dusty.

Rather than a single pokey room I was lucky enough to have a family room. Although expensive to me it was comparable to similar properties in the area. It wasn’t tooooo far from the beach, very handy for the shops and plenty of places to eat nearby. I ate there twice and food was lovely, huge portions on the chicken parmigiana all in all a good stay. other than whale sharks and humpback whales I knew very little about the area. The staff were patient when I asked what might have seemed to be silly questions
