We stayed the first night in the newer section, which was really lovely. The only thing was a trucker had parked under the balconies at the back for the night and started his truck up at six in the morning the next day which was a rude wake up as he sat there idling for 10 minutes. The next night we stayed in the old part, the heritage style room which was comfortable however the trees were scratching over the tin roof for most of the night, which kept us awake, and then a smoke alarm in one of the other rooms went off at about 530 in the morning and stayed on until we left at 7:30. In saying that the rooms were lovely and clean and it was a nice place to stay. We would be back again soon.

Besides, the smoke alarms going off at odd hours of the morning and the truckies inconsiderately parking around the property and start their trucks up, the place nice.😊

This Hotel used to be Cobb and Co stage coach Hotel. Very old. Famous also for the 1st Police outside of Perth to bunk here. The above statement is important as it was the 1st Town outside Perth with Police. Gold Gold found ,further North. The Rooms were a perfect size. Very good bed. Air-conditioning a must here in our warm seasons. Perfect with small items,Fridge,Microwave Kettle, Toaster. Best of all for me, NO WiFi . The staff were very nice. Everyone koves a chat and a smile. I would highly recommend this Establishment. I will return there again and soon.

Everything. Staff,Facilities, Food, Resterant, Drinking areas. "The Quiet." Of the whole place. The History of the Hotel. Everything's made for a nice stay.

Well appointed, comfy big room. We enjoyed sitting on the verandah when the sun came out. Also loved having a good soak in the bath, which is not often found in rooms this price. There was plenty of parking, even for our large van... and you can walk everywhere from there! And... the Tavern has huge servings and super friendly staff.

The ants that came for the packed butter left on the table.... To be fair, there was a note about the ants, and they didn’t go everywhere. It is more a caution to heed the recommendations!

Stayed in a very large room upstairs. Heating good, Hot water for a shower takes a while to come through the pipes and is good when it arrives. The rooms a decorated according to Pioneer families that first settled in York. I had the Burges room and on the walls are photos of some of the old timers. Furnished according to style of building. Tea and coffee provided. Dinner in the restaurant excellent, I had seniors roast dinner good size meal, gluten free options available. Hubby had steak burger and the size was huge.

Room was clean and bright, plenty of space in the room and easy chairs to watch TV. Outside area good and space to sit. It was a top quality room especially after we had a dreadful stay is another town . It was a relief to find comfort at a reasonable price. Good central location and not far to go for a meal and a drink.

No handrails to assist getting out of the shower. Bath was a bit slippery and had to take care.

We had breakfast later in the morning after an early start. Breakfast was not 'included' in the deal. I loved it that I could park my motorcycle in the courtyard, right outside our room. This relieved any anxiety about someone hotfooting with my bestie!

I pretty much loved the whole place, from the room to the restaurant bar and their wonderful staff. Nothing to complain about. York did it for us.

Staff during booking and slight change were very accommodating and friendly, on arrival reception was busy with it being joint with bar but was welcoming. The room exceeded expectation and incredible value for money, location perfect to walk the strip of York and walk to the York show. We even watched the fireworks off the balcony on the other side of the facility. The room was comfy and the heater worked very well, fridge tea coffee kettle toaster and crockery provided.Info booklet was both a wonderful and helpful read, I was happily impressed with the whole experience at settlers.

Other guests came back to facility loudly, at 12:30am- stumbling home merry from the pub down the road assumably, but they quieted soon after. Nothing on part of the facility control.

The location was perfect, central to every thing we needed. The architecture of the building, looks amazing.

I only had 1/2 roll of toilet paper on the toilet holder. If I needed another one, there were no spare rolls available. Also, it would have been great to have a spare blanket. More economical, than using electric heating all night.

Location was excellent, perfectly located in the middle of town center Overall, except for the mattress and a slight odour on arrival, the room was clean, tidy, located in an excellent location, right outside the courtyard.

Mattress needed to be replaced, appeared to be well used, And a slight closed up odour on arrival, as if the room had not been opened for awhile. Unable to use my Work Meals Card, due to the facilities being classified as a Pub.

You could not lock the French doors with the front door key and the front door was very dodgey , easily opened need to up grade security other than that it was very comfortable and thank god for the air con as it was 46 degrees when we arrived,we did not deal with any staff so cannot comment
