Great little pub with lovely food and the staff are polite friendly and welcoming. Rooms are super comfy quiet and spacious, it had a little kitchenette and all the basics you need.

The housekeeping lady walked straight into our room while we were in bed, did not knock on the door or say housekeeping nothing just unlocked the door and barged in on us. We were so shocked and annoyed at her as we had only checked in half hour before hand and she see saw we were in our room. This was very annoying and rude especially because she didn’t seem to care just that she was putting pens in the room, however I believe the house keeping staff may be contractors?? The staff of the hotel were very good and helpful, just a shame about our encounter with the housekeeping lady. We did not allow her interruption to impact our stay, they may just wish to ensure better practices so it doesn’t happen again.

Loved the bathroom, loved loved the little lounge, loved colour scheme, loved the kitchenette. Loved high ceilings and lived room layout.loved space gor hanging clothes. Loved access to wide variety of good food down stairs. Staff very helpful and pleasant. I asked for coffee in afternoon at the bar and coffee machine was off, but staff were happy to oblige with my request and then sold 3-4 more coffees. I was grateful for staff kindness. Great value for money.

Windows and window sills were dirty, marks on velvet upholstery in our lounge. Nearby beautiful verandah had gorgeous fairy lights but had workers clutter which looked like the area serviced staff not guests. It would be lovely to see the verandah better presented. There has been a good start. The blinds are not blockout and someone standing on verandah would be able to see through gap of blind onto bed 😳🫣. Blockout blinds needed as dairy lights on all night. Front access door off street jammed so we couldn’t get in. Staff immediately helpful when we asked. We were locked out of our room before checkout as were our friends staying in other rooms. Again staff immediately helpful when we asked.

The hotel was very clean and up to date with modern appliances including fridge, microwave, tv, air con etc. Very comfortable and good size room. King bed was great! We even used the chairs and table on the verandah. Great to sit out and have a drink.Having the pub just next door makes it very convenient for lunch/dinner options.

The only fault I could say was there was a strong flower smell in the room. Not sure if it was just a strong cleaning product.

The restaurant, food was great. Loved the kids cubby and colouring corner. Loved the tolerance for the kids to be kids. The rooms are awesome, well appointed and very clean. The location, right in town closest to all the cafes for breakfast was great.

Some of the decor is damaged in the upstairs rooms. No mirror on wall in one room and no hooks in the other. So a bit limited for storage space to hang anything in the second room.

Lovely hotel in the town of Toodyay. We had booked a river view suite with balcony, but on arrival found that it was on first floor. Suites were at the back of hotel. The hotel kindly changed our room to a ground floor room which suited us better. Good sized room, with air con, comfortable bed, and en-suite. Free parking available on site. Great food available in the pub which is recommended.

Early Check in,,Bottle of Brown Brothers Champayne,,, after i revealed to Check in Staff,was my Birthday,Pot of Tea for One was Plentiful and Hot,Wifes Rib eye Steak for Dinner was cooked Perfect,medium Rare.My chicken Palmy Hawaian Style was Delicious and big Portion.Body wash, Shampoo and Conditioner, in Shower was Refreshing.Shady tree for Motorcycles outside no 9 unit.

Wife said toilet bowl wasnt clean and debris on Floor.one 0f 4 Complimentary milks was cheesy and lumpy.It was Melbourne Cup Lunch but i found it a little hard to get attention at the bar.for Lunch Order and Drinks,2nd Attempt okay,Lemon merienge Pie awful.

Very comfortable bed with nice linen. Lovely outlook over the river. Nice big balcony to enjoy the sunshine (room19). Well furnished and thoughtful inclusions.

Option of two pillows with one being extremely thin and the other very large and firm - something in the middle would have been nice. No soap dish on the vanity - where do you put the provided cake of soap? Stained face towel wasn’t very appealing, although obviously laundered.

location fantastic in the heart of town walk to everything . restaurant onsite for dinner but not breakfast , just walk downthe road to bakery or Cafe easy 100mtrs

we're pretty fussy on beds being soft , this one was a little hard for us , but Dooner great for the cool night gas instant hot water heaters , we could smell the gas burning wafting in the room showers and facilities fantastic well stay again but in a room with a view next time

Staff were under the pump with checkin facility as they were working the bar at the same time Also they were not flexible with even half an hour earlier checkin, it was 2 o lock and that was it I finally got checked in at 215 The staff were definitely not the friendliest, it’s like they did not want to be there

N/A But the Toodyay Bakery, just across the street, was great for light breakfast before getting the Prospector train to Kalgoorlie.

The only problem was that the TV wouldn't pick up ABC (for news) - but that wasn't that important given the state of the world! Picked up all other channels okay. We went for an early-evening walk around the town, instead - much better for us.
