Everything was great! The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very helpful and polite. The room was bright and spacious and was cleaned every day. The pool is big enough for kids to have fun in the shallow part while the adults can enjoy the deeper part. We also enjoyed the sauna very much. Breakfast buffet was very good, there is something for everyone. There was also coffee, tea, juice etc.

There is a free parking lot across the street from the hotel but there is space only for a few cars. You can park your car in hotel’s underground parking garage for 9€ a day. This is not a negative thing, just an information.

Compared to last year there was absolutely NOBODY in the Kids club this year + no minidisco as well Our room seemed to have a kitchen but we never got the keys to open it AirHockey table didnt have pucks to play with You should do a better effort to get the food signs right....there was a chocolate cake that had alcohol and all kids eating it Ideally it makes more sense to have more fresh fruit variety during breakfast, not in the dinner

Rooms were spacious, the bartender in the taverna was very friendly. The hotel was unique and very interesting with the castle theme. They gave each guest a free drink for arrival and the breakfast was well stocked.

Our room was only cleaned once during 5 days. We could have been told on arrival about the guest card that gives free public transport and discounts. All check ins were after 3, which meant queues and waiting at reception, this could have been achieved with checkin earlier, but room allocation at 3. Hotel taxes should be charged at the start of the stay.

Great hotel in old castle style. Sauna, pool. Great breakfast and dinner. 4min by car from ski area fieberbrun saalbach. Fieberbrun ski slopes are north oriented, so the snow quality is better even afternoon in warmer time like in March.

Limited space on free parkplace in front of hotel, but 3min walk from hotel is bigger parking place.

Very quaint & charming. The rooms have unique features from a bygone castle era. The spa, pool & wellness center are great especially if u use it a lot. Their breakfast & dinner buffets were sumptuous & offered a wide selection. Close enough to walk from train station.

Older furnishings if u prefer newer & modern. We liked the old style for a change of pace.

Brekfast was excellent. The sauna facilities are great. Dinner was always offering delightfull and great variety of dishes. The staff are extremely supportive and helpful. The taverna atmosphere and staff there is great.

That the holyday was too short!!!

So if you want to stay in a Castle in the dead of winter in the Alps, this is a wonderful place! Check in was easy - and the reception staff spoke English (and Italian) and really do such an exceptional job in making you feel welcome! I would give any hotel that has such a team a 10 ranking just because they set the bar so high in all they do! Outstanding service adn professionalism too! The castle takes a bit to get orientated with - but in no time was able to find my room as well as the Finnish sauna. The room was super clean and very large -- and it was nice and cozy. Plenty of hot water for the shower in the morning - though late at night it was just warm. The bed was super soft! I liked the bar in the castle - its whole set up was very cool - and well worth stopping off there for a drink. They do have a very large spread for breakfast in the dining room. It is also a lot of fun looking through the castle itself and its history. All around great place to stay.

Distance is a thing when looking at the map it looks close to the train station. Actually it is -- but you go down the hill to get there. Highly recommend getting a Uber or Taxi to go back - it is not a fun hill to pull a bag up. Places to eat in the area were limited to only a few places open.

Exceptionally friendly and professional staff. Quirky hotel and it was lovely having breakfast with our dog on the outside patio. There was also a nice riverside walk just outside.

We were surprised to have to pay 9 Euros to park in the underground car park as all the exterior spaces were full. They did however give us a complementary welcome drink.

- Very old castle, which was interesting to walk around. - half board option worked well, and the food quality was decent every evening. - Very attentive and friendly staff. - They have supervised kids club on in the evening time for an hour, which my son was very happy about! - The pool area is great, and there's lots for kids to do around the hotel.

The room was very warm with no option to control temperature other than opening the window.

The kitchen was missing basic utensils - cutlery, plates etc for light cooking. The pool area and interior and the tavern was run down and in need of an upgrade
