The food was excellent, it was a gourmet vacation for us! The cleanliness of the hotel, the sweetness of the staff(except one person), the calmness of the environment, everything was perfect, we will definitely come again. Note: At the beginning of April, the pistes were closed in St. Johann, but the season continued in Kitzbühel, which was 15 minutes away by car, so we went there for skiing.

On the first evening, we went to dinner just 5 minutes early and one of the staff at the food reception talked nonsense and made an annoying disciplinary speech like “I'll take you in this time", okay teacher!

The buffet breakfast and dinner was a great addition to making the stay comfortable. Some more dairy free dessert options for dinner would have been nice, but each time I asked staff for this, they were able to provide me something! The wellness/sauna area was wonderful and very clean, a lovely space to relax after a day of activity.

It's unfortunate the rooms don't have individual temperature controls. The heating is wonderful, but not being able to control the temperature became a bit of a problem - we alleviated this with opening the window - but at negative temperatures outside, it was a constant battle to reach a good temp inside the room.

Great location, 2 min walk to the ski lift. Spacious and spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed. Great view. Excellent food! Great spa with a variety of saunas. Nice staff. Ski rental and ski school in the same building. Rooms were warm, but you could turn the heating off and open a window to adjust the temperature. Overall we loved the stay and would like to come back next year.

The gym was great, but it was very hot in there which made exercise quite a challenge. Some places around the hotel you can smell the septic tank. We didn't stay around any of these so we didn't mind. I imagine this could be worse in the summer.

Fresh and high quality of ingredients and choices. Plenty of options for the whole family. We were allocated a table dedicated to us for the whole period which was really nice. Our main waitress was wonderful, friendly and warm, as was Katrina on the reception desk.

Unfortunately one of the waiters was quite rude and abrupt which did affect our enjoyment when he was working at meal times. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Wonderful location and hotel! Everything on your fingertips (sport equipment rental, ski schule, ski center, spa, bar). The staff was very friendly, helpful and ready to assist with anything.

The room wasn't cleaned during our stay, even though we followed the instructions and the hairdryer after using it for 2 min was overheating and stopped working, then you had to wait for a couple of minutes until you can use it again. Other than that it was a wonderful experience!

we loved the location, accessibility around the resort, food is great, the value is phenomenal!!! Service of the front desk personnel was excellent and many others worked hard too.

Room cleaning service; the room was not thoroughly cleaned, strange protocol to fold blankets, etc. Not enough staff to deliver extra pillows, and complete other requests on time. Not all staff speaks English.

Ski school, ski rental, ski shop, cafe/bar are located at the same spot attached to the hotel next to one of the main cable cars of St. Johann. New learners skiing area is located in front of the hotel. Hotel has a nice pool and a kids club for the hours after skiing to engage kids with other activities. Open buffet offers various options for kids at all meals.

No cable car card included in package (in Saalbach you get Joker card for free cable car access for this price, here you have to purchase extra Sommer card for around 60eur extra per day) Dinner - there’s a thematic dinner every evening, but only Tirol evening was worth 4* hotel (Italian and Mediterranean evening we would rather skip - change the cook or focus on what you really can do - Austrian food) Waitresses speed at dinner (waited almost whole dinner to get a drink) Children loud and running around dining room - would prefer separated space for families

Our room was a very good size for a superior room. The balcony and views were delightful. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The food was excellent with plenty of choice and variety and included some lovely surprises- such as a BBQ. We enjoyed the pool with amazing views of the mountains and lovely outdoor space for sunbathing.

Having to pay for tap water at a meal was a surprise but that may have been normal for the area. On hot nights we did need to keep the balcony door open to keep the room cool, which some people may not want to do.

Location, staff, food, the pool, everything is great. Very kids friendly. Staff was helpful. Next to hotel there is directly hiking possibilities. Big parking areas also for free. Great view too.

If being really picky, In the older side of the building, the floor in the room was carpet.
