We stayed here and drove to Kitzbuhel to ski. It turned out to be a great plan. The room has huge. It was spotless. It had windows with mountain views on two sides and a balcony. You could easily be comfortable here for several days. The hotel also had nice spa facilities for those who are interested. Parking was a little tight with a full hotel, but worked out fine. Breakfast was very nice. It is a very easy 10 to 15 minute drive to Kitzbuhel. Parking directly at the lift is very affordable by U.S. ski area standards. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to the central area of St. Johann. It quite compared to Kitzbuhel, but pretty and offered nice dining options.

Great family vibe in this hotel. Everyone is very keen to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Even my poor German was politely tolerated. Good breakfast with a wide choice but no "full English" which certainly isn't a problem for me.

The B&B is in town , perfect location. Breakfast was amazing with ample homemade cakes and treats to enjoy. Alexandra is wonderful she went the extra mile from making special gluten free bread for my daughter to helping us with reservations for dinner . She also treated us to bottomless amounts of homemade cookies .

The staff was really welcoming and nice. The place is very close by to ski schools and train station. Highly recommend this place for your next ski holidays.

We wish there were some kitchen utilities provided in the room, everything else was amazing.

Fabulous, friendly beautiful small hotel with great atmosphere and everything you needed for a week's skiing. The breakfast was one of the best I have seen with plenty of locally produced items.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was simple but very clean and a good size. There was a balcony which was lovely as the weather was sunny and warm. The location was charming- very pretty place with lots of good restaurants. Parking was easy . Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of food.

The bathroom was very small.

There was nothing we didn’t like except that there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room which would be nice to have!

The hotel was fantastic. The room was large and comfortable, with a table, TV with a channel guide, a balcony with an outdoor table and an incredible view. The bathroom was not large but very clean and had a shower gel dispenser in the shower. The host was absolutely marvelous and attentive. Breakfast is pretty good with enough choice of cheeses, hams and breads, and a particular focus on a variety of yoghurts, local pastries and marmalades. The location is also amazing if you want to hike in the Kitzbüheler Alpen or go to the attractions in the mountain. Just a few minutes walking from the Hotel is the Harschbichl cable car station that takes you to 1.600 m altitude, from where you can continue upwards to the Kitzbühelerhorn, take a tandem paraglider flight or ride a mountaincart down to the lower station. There's also a few pretty good Italian restaurants in the town and the town center is small but cozy.

The town itself, Sankt Johann, isn't a very attractive place except for its center, perhaps. Also if you want to hike in the Wilder Kaiser, the bus connection to Going-Ellmau-Schefau-Söll is not great. Timetables are sparse and the last bus may depart as early as 16:45. Plus the Kaiserjet bus service does not go to Sankt Johann. If you're going there for the Wilder Kaiser or for Der Bergdoktor's locations, maybe consider staying in Going, Ellmau, Schefau or Söll instead
