Lovely period hotel full of character and charm. Stone stairs with wooden panelled breakfast room. The bed was super comfortable, the room was very large. There was no air con but that didn't affect us during storm Boris! Breakfast was excellent with a great selection to suit all tastes. We arrived as 2 soaked cyclists and were able to dry our wet waterproofs in the hotel drying room. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The bathtub/ shower was dated and difficult to get in and out of.

Beautiful property, spotlessly kept and cutest town in Austria, on the Danube. So spacious and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Sunny and great breakfast area with large selection and good coffee. We loved our stay and would happily return!

The location for a Danube Cycle trip stay was perfect, on the main square with the old theatre ( which is still in use) right next door. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. There was good safe bike storage.

The shower over the bath was quite difficult to get safely in and out of and would definitely be difficult for use by children or the elderly or infirm.

Lovely lady taking care of the hotel, made us feel like we are visiting a family. Location couldn't be better! Bicycle parking inside the building.

The hotel is old. The styling inside gives me the vibe of the workers hotel I used to stay in while travelling for children camps as a kid. No contact with the owner/reception after she leaves in the evening, my message was not answered until now. No kettle available to boil the water.

This place is a gem. It’s a super cool building just off the river. The owners were cheery and relatable. Great big door to the parking area where we kept our bikes. A porch above with drinks and snacks on the honor system. The breakfast room was cozy, coffee delivered to the table in china cups and an apparatus to cook eggs in the shell to your preference - entertained us to no end. Highly recommend.

A wonderful hotel The staff were friendly efficient, and welcoming both on reception and at breakfast. My bike was securely garaged. My room was comfortable and well provided. This was a perfect hotel especially for cyclists

Lovely building with a great atmosphere. Really nice terrace area to sit out and enjoy a drink. Great location. Excellent area to store bikes. Beautifully kept building with well furnished room. Friendly staff and a good breakfast.

Travel back in time in this hotel that has served Donau travelers well decades and decades. Loved the atmosphere, the old wooden furniture, the long corridors, the lovely courtyard, spacious rooms where the only thing from this century were the nice new mattresses. Absolutely fantastic.

It is hotel for more than 100 years and some details were like nowhere. For example, in order to turn on light in bathroom, the same switch turns on also light in half of the room. Not that comfortable.

Good hotel in central location, right on Stadt Platz. Good breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Secure, covered bike storage. Somewhat dated decor but comfortable bed. Very small bathroom.

Room very hot and perhaps the hotel could consider placing fans in each room.
