The hotel was located really close to the highway in a small town which makes a great stop for everyone who is travelling by car. It’s located in a very quiet town so you will not be bothered during the night. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was well equipped and modern. There is also wifi available and free of charge and plenty of parking spots just outside the hotel. A great advantage was also represented by the fact that you can make check in even if you arrive very late (after 11pm) as we did. The staff was nice and helpful and they left us the key in a safe place so we could just access the rooms when we got there. Another positive about the hotel is the breakfast option that you have (it is not included in the price so you will have to pay some extra money to eat breakfast there but nonetheless it’s great to know that you can eat a good breakfast before leaving). Overall it’s a great choice if you are travelling and want to stop overnight because of the great location and the decent prices for rooms.

The rooms are not spacious at all and the beds could have been more comfortable. Also there are not many things to do in the region so it’s probably only suited for transit. Moreover the prices are a bit too high for what the hotel rooms offer (you can probably find some cheaper options for transit that are also located next to the highway). But as I’ve already said, it still represents a solid option for me and I may stop here again if I will find myself travelling and looking for a quick one night stay in that region.

The Owners were fantastic. Really friendly and accommodating. I was not able to use the first night of my reservation, and out of their kindness and initiative, they gave me a free Breakfast. As it was not their fault, I was really touched by the gesture. When I was leaving, they also let me check out an hour late so I had somewhere to hang out while I waited for my next appointment. Breakfast was very good, the room was clean and comfortable. I couldn't wish for more.

Well….the atmosphere,from the reception (I think the owner was there)to the restaurant,everyone was friendly,helpful and we felt very welcome.This is a family business and when you open the menu you can see the history and pride of the family who owns the place,they are buying many local products to support the community.We look to have dinner there,the restaurant was full ,we found the last table in Gaststube and we had dinner ,I think most of the people where locals and we felt little bit between friends 😀This is not a 5 stars building but it is 5 stars home.We will return,thank you guys!Keep up with the great job!

This was my second stay at this hotel, and it was just as great as I remembered. The staff is awesome, they even went out of their way to prepare us dinner, despite our very late arrival. The food was excellent, and the room was spacious, tastefully designed, comfortable, and clean. Hotel is conveniently located less than 5 mins from the motorway.

Waited for us an hour and a half longer due to gps bringing us to wrong location. Friendly even with very late arrival and no late fee. Very nice hotel with elevator. Had balcony. Very nice bathroom with shower products supplied. Procided hot water maker for instant coffee in room as requested.

Correct address in St. Valentin was not provided on booking.com! That was the first of two times (in a row) this happened. Was there a hack of and damage to Booking.com addresses? Seems suspicious this never happened before. Not a hotel issue unless they gave inadequate address to booking com!

It's nice hotel near highway. We stayed only one night but it was pleasing stay.

We asked for crib in advance, with response from hotel 'OK' and when we came, crib wasnt there but the personal brought it immediately. I was OK with that, not a big deal. But when I wanted to put baby to sleep I found out, the sheets were NOT changed, there were hair and some plastic tape. That was really disappointing.

Nice, family owned hotel, not far from A1 and Linz. Very comfy bed. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good place for a stop over on the way through Austria.

A bit pricey compared to what I paid for a similar standard in Vienna few nights before. Otherwise all good.

Everything was ok. Nice triple room with all we needed, including balcony. Food was very good, not much variety but clasic breakfast. Dinner was great. nice staff and helpful. Although it’s near train station, we haven’t heard any noise. Definitely will come back.

Location is great. Room big and clean. Bathroom super. Great stuff and dinner and breakfast excelent. It’s always a pleasure to come at Hotel zur Post.

A minibar would be nice to add to the room.

No fridge in the room, but the owner helped and put everything in one of the fridges in the restaurant.
