The position of this hotel is wonderful. The views from the restaurant over the 2 rivers is exceptional. We were there when the rain was pouring and the rivers were filling rapidly, so it was amazing to watch out of the windows. The staff were friendly and the service was good. There are a lot of steps to the rooms, although we had a room where the lift took you to the first floor and then there were just 2 steps, but we were told that all other rooms had a lot of stairs.

The furnishings of the room were pleasant, however the soft furnishings were not good. The sheet didn't fit the bed properly and the quilts were so heavy, they reminded me of a brick. I think some investment in nice soft, light quilts, sheets that fit the beds properly and good quality pillows (my pillowcase had a hole in it) would do a lot to raise the standards of the hotel. The restaurant has quite a small selection. On the first night i had schnitzel with French fries and they tasted like they had been cooked in old oil that wasn't hot enough. I hadn't wanted to eat there the next night but due to the heavy rain, there wasn't much choice. However, this night I chose one of their special dishes and the difference was remarkable. Moral of the story, stay away from schnitzels.

Delightful hotel in a superb location with wonderful views from the bedroom and restaurant. Excellent buffet breakfast served on crisp white linen tablecloths. An outdoor cafe area was a bonus in the summer weather.

It took a while for the water in the bathroom to run hot.

I loved my stay at the hotel, the view and localization - amazing! The receptionist - super helpful and smart! Breakfast was good, too. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the feel this hotel has. It is not a modern, luxurious and therefore - dull and uninteresting hotel - on a contrary, it perseveres its soul and vintage vibe. Definitely coming back here!

The only thing I did not like was the hairdryer in the bathroom - it was old and scary! Thank god I had my own!

I had a dirty plate in the sink since I entered the room , probably from the previous stay . The staff cleaned my room next day after my stay but not the plate in the sink.

The best possible location; spectacular view of the two rivers, the castle, the old part of the city. Very polite, friendly staff. Comfortable size of room and bathroom. Free parking on the riverside.

The breakfast should be improved (eggs?).

The view of the river at breakfast in the mornings is fantastic!!

the proximity to the main road and limited sound proofing meant that I could hear people conversing on the street whilst lying in bed. Limited plant-based option at breakfast (yogurt & milk)

Based on an earlier experience, there was no doubt that we would stay at the Minichmayer. Besides the excellent location, room standards and helpful staff, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast.

Though wines were good, we wanted gin and tonic on this warm day outside. There were no limes--only lemons--and we needed to ask for more than the 2 ice cubes that the drinks were served with. It's probably not a bar that is practiced with long drinks.

A super hotel with very helpful friendly staff . Extremely pleasant girls working long hours. The lady owner was delightful and a very smart woman . Everyone spoke excellent English too . The location of the hotel was truly exceptional and had views to die for . All in all a wonderful hotel experience .

What a location - the view over thee confluence of the rivers is stunning... and right in front of you, either in the bedroom or the restaurant. Lovely little town too. Hotel was great - a family run affair with super staff.
