The room was very basic, and if you are not expecting something above basic then the rooms are great. The shower was new and clean. Overall for the basic room the hotel is good. The best part of the hotel is the diner restaurant... I have been in some stars restaurants and I must say that this one can easy get a Michelin star. Absolutely amazing food, service is warm and friendly and the overall experience is surprising.

A fan in the room could help ..

The location practically directly by the lake. Plenty of fresh air and great views on lake and mountains. Generous breakfast and exceptionally warm and friendly service. Received a call to liaise late arrival and was treated to a hot lemon drink on account of my cold.

Unfortunately, the good restaurant was closed off season. Also in the nearby town very little in the way of dining. Live on the Wörthersee is very much a seasonal activity beginning after Easter and ending after Christmas.

Very friendly owners. The food in the restaurant is very good and the waitress was extremely helpful and translated the entire menu into English for me because she only had German and I don't understand German very well. The terrace of the restaurant is also very nice. They offered us free bike rental. The garden in front of the accommodation is very beautiful. We only stayed one day and the room was fine for that time.

You have to walk a bit to get to the lake, although the hotel is not far from the lake itself, there are private plots under the hotel and it is not possible to get to the lake directly. The hotel really deserves 3 stars, but the price for such accommodation, without a balcony, seems quite high to me. There is a road and a railway line nearby, although the noise of the vehicles is not that disturbing.

Lovely traditional Austrian hotel, great personal service by the host, absolute devine restaurant food and great location to worthsee lake & private bathing area.

We did miss not having Air Con in the bedroom - if a fan could have been provided then might of made our stay more comfortable overnight, but overall would definitely go back again

The accomodation itself was not a big deal. The staff was friendly, caring, creative and professional. Cuisine is simply fantastic - deserve a Micheline-nomination: dinner was amazing, breakfast even better !

The rooms' quality does not match the restaurant's ultra high level. The price is Wörther-see like :o(

There's no sound insulation so I'd recommend earplugs to avoid hearing other guests.

I enjoyed the breakfest in the restaurant, it was rich and tasty. The hotel is well run, clean and safe. It was very nice experience and I can only recommend.

The train line at the nearby railway. But I know, there is nothing the hotel could do with it. The night was anyway quiet.

The staff including the owner of the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The location is close to lake Wörthersee and if you want to go for walks, the forest is just behind the hotel. Definitely a place to return to.

We had a good time at Soleo. We stayed for one night in this lovely hotel. Facilities were good and we thank the kind owner for recommending a good restaurant in the vicinity. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with some homemade foods.

The breakfast was nice. The room was a bit small but offered everything needed for our short comfortable stay. We were off season and restaurant was closed.
