excellent stay. The parking was good, and the shower had great water pressure. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely balcony where I could relax and enjoy the amazing view. The owner was very welcoming, and the breakfast was diverse and delicious, served on the lovely outdoor terrace. There are a lot of places to walk and explore in the surrounding area. And the best part was the magical view, which was beautiful in the morning, afternoon, evening, and even at night. The fresh air added to the overall experience.

Great location - quiet, picturesque, with fresh mountain air and plenty of nice paths for walking. If there is snow, there is a small ski center and a long route for cross-country skiing a few minutes by car away. The host is also very helpful and kind.

Most of the nearby restaurants and the store are closed on Tuesdays/Wednesdays. If you do not have a car plan your meals ahead.

It was really quiet though the guests under me were watching the tv very loudly but luckily went to bed at 8.30. The point of such a place would be the scenery, being in nature and quietness so having tvs in the rooms is not a good idea cos the point gets lost. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Breakfast was very good. The people (staff and owner) could not have been nicer. We had to leave early but this posed no problems. We needed more heat during the evening and were provided with a portable heater. If there is a problem, tell them, they seem to be able to respond to everything. The views from the room were great.

Small hotel in the middle of nowhere (12 km from Ferlach) with the beautiful mountin view from the hotel balcony. Got clean towels every day and room cleaned! Bed matrace was good quality. I got all minimum necessary in the room.

This is a lovely B&B establishment providing exactly what is advertised. The owners couldn't be more helpful and friendly, providing plenty of guidance and vouchers for activities around the area. I used Lausegger as a base whilst on a touring motorcycle holiday which was perfect as it allowed me to travel out from there daily around the immediate areas. The owner also very kindly provided me with somewhere to park my bike undercover too which was appreciated :) My single room and en suite bathroom were both good size, clean, with basic furnishings which were more than adequate. There was also a balcony which offered a fabulous place to sit and take in the amazing scenery. Breakfasts were good, fresh with both sweet and savoury options (and lovely homemade jams). All in all, this is a lovely B&B at an affordable price.

Stunning location and very helpful owners/family. Nice breakfast including delicious homemade jam and of course Alpine muesli!

Rooms and bathrooms are a little bit dates in appearance - could do with an uplift but the sleep was comfortable and so peaceful and the shower was hot and powerful, even if the cubicle was small

Breakfast was outstanding on both days. We wanted a quiet location and we got a quiet location!! The owner was a jewel and spent time telling us the history of the family and the business. Very nice people!

The shower was very tight and moving around caused me to bump into the lever for flow and temperature causing the "shower dance" to begin. Granted the flow was awesome, the dimensions of the shower were quite small.

Nice and cosy place with a great mountainview. Would have liked to stay a few days more, just to enjoy the scenery. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The road to the hotel is a good one for motorcyclists. Highly recommended.
