The pension is in a quiet part of Klagenfurt, between Wörtersee and the Innere Stadt. The staff is very friendly and helpful, while the dog is adorable. Don't be discouraged by the dark, old-fashioned hallways, because the rooms are very nice. Or at least ours was. Full of light, sparkling clean and comfortable. The towels and bed linen are fresh.

We liked everything and we will for sure stay here again. It's an ok price for the area, compared to other stuff on Booking. The only thing we didn't like was the bed. It was just too soft for us and we had some back pain because of that, but it might be a matter of taste, I guess.

My wife and I have been staying at Pension Wachau for twenty years now and we enjoy the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Our room had all of the expected modern amenities, very comfortable bed, great shower, and a lovely breakfast. Anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Klagenfurt, look no further than Pension Wachau.

Everything was very nice, We spent really beautiful time in the Klagenfurt and in the guesthouse. We met with open hands, warm attitude. I travelled for the education trip with two kids, and they were very happy in the guesthouse Wachau. Thank you so much, hopefully we will have a chance to come back.

The location of the pension is few minutes drive from the lake, it is about 20min walking distance. We enjoyed the stay in the pension, room was perfect for family 2 adults and 2 teens, Breakfast was excellent with fresh food, eggs, bred, etc. The owner was in the reception welcoming us and giving us all required information about Klagenfurt. We went twice to the lake swimming at the stadtbad, everything was clean and organized.

The location was not bad. It was very quiet. The host and the staff were very polite and helpful. We liked the breakfast and the small garden that you can sit under the trees and enjoy you drink.

The property was clean and nice. Without terrible sounds. My room was small but very comfortable.

I was late because my train was late. I sent an email and text message about my delayed. Without response.

I waited 5 min for hot water in the shower in the morning, I arrived late and wanted to dring own coffee. But it was not possible to get boiled water from reception or from kitchen after 22.00 :-(

The room felt a little snug, however, we did have large luggage. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and tasty. The people were helpful and friendly.
