Great location easily accessible by car and a perfect base for nearby hikes and sightseeing. The nearby park is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We mostly drove, but there’s also a bus stop very close by. The staff was excellent, everything was spotless, and breakfast was good although the selection felt a bit repetitive after three days, which is often the case in similar hotels. Our room was nicely renovated, spacious, and we really liked it.

Downsides: unfortunately, the mattress seemed a bit worn out, with a dip in the middle that affected sleep quality. Also, the parking fee of €15/day felt overpriced, especially since there's a public lot just a few steps away for €4/day. The hotel lot doesn't offer extra features, it’s not a garage, just gated.

Friendly welcome by the owners. Good location near train station and bus stop. Ample parking. Huge hotel room with balcony facing the park. Very large comfy bed and pillows. Excellent shower and sitting area. Cosy bar and terrace area on the ground floor. We enjoyed our stay very much. Ideal location for visiting the Wörthersee with its charming small villages and towns.

The location is perfect! Next to the park, where my kids (2 and 4) could run, drive basicles and scooters. In the park there is a huge playground for big and small. The hotel is 3 min away from the lake and the beach. It is walking distance from minimumdos. The breakfast was really amazing, there were enough things for vegetarian and vegan people. There were at least 4 different types of milks, warm vegetables, cold vegetables, different oats, at least 4 types of bread , a lot of fruits, deserts and many more. The staff was very friendly, there are balconies, our room was with a really small open space, kind of like garden with table and chairs. One of the most important thing for me with 2 small kids is space and the room was really big. They could even run inside, which is very rare for hotels. Even the bathroo was huge and the toilet was with a separate door. There is a restaurant with a nice bar with outside area, which I didn't manage to try , but it looked really nice. They provided a baby crib, but there was a cauch as well that turns in to quite big bed. It was warm enough inside. There are parking spaces in front and after leaving the room I could leave the car a bit more, so the kids had a last visit to the playground.

There was no mosquito net on the door, so I couldn't open in the evening and stay outside while listening to the kids. I was always afraid to leave open for air, because if the kids have bites , it's constant complaining. The rooms are not too modern, there is carpet, which is harder to clean and keeps more dirt, but at least it keeps warm and the kids could be without shoes inside. The furniture is not new, but for me this is the lowest priority. When the people in the room above were walking around it was very loud and nit comfortable, but not to the extent to wake us up.

Really nice and modern hotel, everything felt brand new. Very kind and helpful staff at the reception, including the house dog Ema :) The breakfast was very good, all the essentials were there, we enjoyed it. Good location, walking distance to the lake and the main local attractions. The room was nice, big, with awesome bathroom. Overall we were very happy with the stay.

The parking was paid even though advertised as free.

Breakfast has a lot of choice and a pleasant dining area. It was also no problem to take away the food for the child who did want to sit down for more then 10 min at the table. The restaurant took care to refresh every tray after a short while so everything looked like never touched before.

The only drawback might be the traffic noise outside if you room is facing the main street. No possible to sleep with the open balcony but maybe when it is off-season the road to the lake is not so laud, we had a stay in summer.

The location is really good since you are next to the lake and the park. Friendly staff. Spacious room.

The hotel does not offer food, so you have to go outside the hotel to grab a snack. Also, the breakfast was beyond our expectations.

Located perfectly near the highway, yet on the other side there is a magnificent park and a beautiful lake, Plattenwirt hotel was a gem. The staff were kind and efficient, room spacious and spotless, beds comfy. Next time coming back for a proper little holiday stay.

Room very large, clean, comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Staff very polite and helpful. The Suite we stayed in was newly renovated, the rest of the hotel is older but still well maintained.

The very close location to the musical events next to Lake Woerthersee which has nothing to do with the hotel. But it was extremely noisy from the sound checks on at 5pm until the end of the concerts around 11pm on 2 consecutive days. Next time we will check the musical events calender and stay away.

Location is perfect, staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and comfortable and spotlessly clean

Breakfast is expensive for what is offered. Several fruit flies around the fruit section making a lot of it totally inaccessible . Juice was only available on our last day.

The room was large and well equipped the furnishings were modern there was a large terrace as well. The hotel is very close to the Wörthersee lake and I could just walk to a beautiful sunset on the lake. The staff was friendly and let me stay in the lobby after I checked out and I could use the internet. The welcome coffees and drinks were also fine. The shower had a built in sauna function that was nice.

The automated lighting solution in the bathroom was annoying I can switch on and off a light thank you. The breakfast was not included but I guess that is better that way for people who want to pay less and not have breakfast.
