Wow what can I say , the location is just superb, I was welcomed by the team at Pichlmayrgut , given an upgraded room , nothing was too much trouble , the hotel is layer out really well , with a really spacious and wonderful wellness area with lots of spaces to relax and unwind , I was also surprised by the indoor pool being a good size for a good swim , I was blessed with the weather that gave the hotel its full potential with the wellness outdoor spaces , Also being given a summer card as part of staying at the hotel was a great surprise as it gives you free accustomed many attractions in the local area including use of buses and the cable cars for free , there are so many activities to take advantage of in the area , I was there only I full day so opted for some hiking , as did not want to use the car , there are many hike trails from the hotel , which the staff where happy to give advice on , I decided on a steep walk up to the cable car at Preunegg, taking the cable car up to Preunegg Jet , where I hiked the Reiteralm Summit loop , which was just out of this world especially as the weather was kind and clear skys , thanks to the team for the recommendation, The walk back down was a lot easier . The hotel also supplied a hikers rug-sac which was invaluable , they also supply towels , bathrobes and a beach bag to use in the wellness centre , they seem to think of everything . The food was awesome too both the breakfast and dinner , you are also given a specific table for you stay again a nice touch so you don’t have to keep hunting a table each time .

The fitness and wellness facilities are incredible. Indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, and relaxation rooms. It's just splendid. I have never seen a gym this big in a hotel before. The staff was very nice and helpful and breakfast and dinner were really good too. I didn't have a car while staying there, but that was not a problem. You can either catch a train or bus to Schladming or Radstadt. The stations are less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. You also get half-price tickets for some of the major cable cars in the area.

A few more towel holders in the bathroom would be nice, but it is a minor inconvenience.

I think the Hotel deserves 100/100. 10/10 seems too little. The Hotel offers so much! ALL the staff were great, helpful and kind! Such good food! 3 times a day! So much to do in the Hotel, free bike rental, huge gym, many pools and saunas, it's located in a very nice mountain area, good for hiking/riding/skiing.

The reserved tables were not my favorite. We had a really good table, next to the window, but i have a very Jewish name and with all the tension, i rather my name wasn't placed for everyone to see. It's something the Hotel maybe doesn't think of, but it's something that bothered me personally.

Very clean and cosy rooms. The room and the bathroom were much bigger than they look in the photos and there was even a balcony. The food was absolutely delicious. Preparing vegan meals was not a problem at all! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We were there on my birthday and I was surprised by the staff with a complementary cake and a greeting card. The window view was astonishing and there is a hiking path just behind the hotel. In about 20 minutes drive there is another hiking path, where you can see groundhogs! I will definitely stay there again next time when in Schladming.

We loved at stay at this hotel. Nothing is spared. They even offer fruit and drinks by the swimming pool for free and the cake time at lunch was a delicious surprise. We've had a wonderful short stay there with our two small children and we are looking forward to our next visit. The hosts are wonderful and their effort is reflected in the high quality of the accomodation.

The room was a little cold. There were only very dark curtains in the room, including in the bathroom, and it was possible to see inside from the neighboring building. Sheer curtains or light drapes would have been nice so I wouldn’t have to keep the heavy curtains closed and the lights on during the day.

Charming old hotel with the history. We really liked the area, spa was nice and cosy (and mostly empty). Personal was sweet and helpful. It was my birthday and I received a complement decert from the hotel twice - from the hotel management and at the hotel restaurant 😊 Regarding Restaurant, we had half-board. Breakfast was great, the same as dinner. The location is also great - across the road there is a lift to the mountain (at summer for hiking, at winter for skiing). Our windows was looking to the inner yard so no problems with noise from the road.

Hotel seemed half empty. I hope during the winter season it's more crowded and full of life

Clean room, nice wellness, great hotel staff!!! Nice dinner - main course and dessert(both served and top quality)+salad buffet, soup ok. Good breakfast buffet.

Wi-fi signal could be better.(Few more routers etc. should help). I wish the the dinner main course was bigger :) - because it was so nice. Bigger TV in room would be nice.

Breakfast offer a wide range of items both cold and hot. The rooms are simple but very clean, they have the traditional german style beds (each person has a separate mattress and duvet). The pool and spa area was very nice and there was a lot of areas to lounge. Maintains a lot of the traditional charm.

One night was good, but a longer stay would have been better to fully enjoy the space.

We just stayed there one night on our way to Salzburg and missed the breakfast in the morning. Just mentioned this to the front desk staff and they arranged coffee and croissants for us before we left.. such a nice thing.
