Everything was great, first did not get the room with a view - but actually upon asking our room was changed (we were fortunate that another room was available + the staff was very friendly and willing to help). The other room was great, nice view, very clean and comfortable :-D

I am thinking the breakfast was great, pleasure to look at ;-) - just was thinking that more standard way of serving (buffet table) would be sufficient (as you take only what you eat). In this way (indiv plates in layers - as per our photo - was really original and never seen this, great idea ;-) - but not sure if there was not too much left over - as we were able to eat only some 30% of what was served. Just a thought...

The apartment was exceptionally clean, well equipped, we didn't miss anything. It's design and the whole ambient was very comforting, we found ourselves quickly feeling just like at home. It had it's own sauna, which was great to use after a long day of hiking while enjoying the beautiful mountain panorama. The staff was very helpful and super kind with everything. On some days we had breakfast and dinner in the hotel's restaurant, and the food was really good, the breakfast was plenty. Parking was not a problem, the wifi was also working very well. The town is a super nice place, too. We recieved Lungau cards in the hotel after checking in, which we used to discover the area basically for free. Great for family trips!

High up in the little village was the hotel. Fortunately we received a room with a small patio so we could enjoy the view over the mountain and valley. Very clean room, with all facilities needed. Very friendly staff and helpful in all ways. Breakfast was good. Supernice chocolate for the children! It was a good stay at Stoagas Waidblick,

A small thing about breakfast: We were four guests and a plate was served with cheese, ham etc. However, I find it unfortunate not to have the buffé since some like more cheese or ham and some more vegetables. It looked nice but was not a good thing to choose what people like on their sandwich. It was not much on the plate of each type. (and we did not want to ask over and over for more......) It is a bit on the high end of the price scale.

The hotel is exceptional! We got a free upgrade to a fully equipped apartment with a small balcony, with a beautiful view of the village on the one side, and slopes of Katschberg on the other. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, the room and facilities extra clean. Breakfast was also very nice. Parking places are also secured for guests. We booked this place to visit the Katschberger Adventweg, and we will definitely return, hopefully soon!

Great location for skiers, at least 4 ski centers within 30 min drive (Grosseck-Speiereck 3 min, Katschberg-Aineck 10 min, Fanningberg 20 min, Obertauern 30 min) so you are spoilt for choice. Very comfy beds, everything super clean, delicious breakfast with plenty of chioces, great ski room, and the traditional restaurant has really good food - the wienerschnitzel is the size of your head and it melts in your mouth :)

It has an excellent restaurants in the hotel. You must check it out when you come there. Everything we ate was phenomenal. The room was really warm and clean. Breakfast was like a little buffet and you could order fresh cooked eggs any kind you like and coffee.

Everything about Stoaga's Waidblick is excellent. We experienced world-class hospitality at this family run establishment. Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean and thoughtfully decorated. We enjoyed interacting with the warm and friendly hosts and attentive staff. The adjacent restaurant provided a stellar selection of local dishes (and happily accommodated our late arrival). Breakfast was among the very best we've had. I highly recommend Stoaga's Waidblick.

We were happy with every aspect of our visit.

Very nice apartment, everything new, well equipped kitchen with two coffee machines, comfortable beds and blankets. The breakfast was very good and so were the meals at the restaurant which was open in the evening. The skibus stop is right next to the hotel or it is only a 5 min walk to the nearest lift (Sonnenbahn). We also appreciated the spacious skiroom with all necessary equipment.

Sometimes it felt a little bit overcrowded (we were 4 adults and 2 kids in a two bedroom apartment) especially the bathroom was quite small, but that did not spoil our great stay!

Location is great for skiing (and for other adventures at other times of the year). You can choose from Grosseck 3 minutes away, Katschberg 5 minutes away, Obertauren 25 minutes away... Apartments are new, renovated in 2021. We had an apartment with sauna which was great. We wished sauna was a little bit bigger so that all 4 of us could use it at the same time, but you cant have it all. You have everything at hand at the apartment and around for a great skiing vacation. Owners are nice and helpful, also cleaning staff is great. We didnt use their restaurant and bar, as we had everything we needed in our room, but it looked very nice. If we will be going to this area in the future, we will definitely want to stay here again!

This doesnt go against the owner because it is not their fault. Group of German people, total *****, (driving old bmw around Lungauring and drinking beer) used this place for 2 nights and on second night they trashed one of the apartments. I dont know how such people live with themselves and dont care about anything. Reall shame on them as the owners were really sad as they destroyed something they love and care about.

Easy to find . Comfortable & clean . Friendly helpful staff . Good breakfast. Beautiful views . Private parking . Tea in the room .

It was hot in the room and no air conditioning or fan . No coffee in the room only coffee only tea .
