The staff were lovely, the location is excellent, with ski rental just diagonally opposite, there's an underground garage so your car isn't on the street or iced up. Restaurant is excellent, get half board if you can afford it.

The swimming pool is a bit on the cool side - around 28-30°C which is chilly for some - and really a splash pool, not for doing lengths. Also, be aware that at least some of the balconies are shared, so you might have someone smoking outside your window.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are lovely and the staff are very nice and friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was only a 5 minute walk from the gondola. The food for breakfast and dinner was fantastic every single day. And to top things off, our main waiter, Sarlia, is the nicest guy I have ever met. He was very friendly and polite throughout our entire stay. He really did make our stay more enjoyable. The spa facilities were also very nice and relaxing. 100% will be staying again.

I’m not going to mark it down for this as it’s a minor thing but the hotel didn’t have/ give guests irons in their rooms. Slightly annoying but that’s all.

The Breakfast Buffet and a la carte service was excellent...the evening dinner menu was also really enjoyable and delicious and presented in a very modern and creative way. A massive thanks to Florian in the bar and to Hrvoje, Michal and Letitia in the Fine dining restaurant for making us feel so welcome during our stay...and a special thanks to René for his guidance during our Smugglers excursion and for the fun and laughter during our trip with him up the Peaks. We highly recommend staying and eating in Hotel Salnerhof, the staff were fantastic and very accomodating...thanks again for making our trip so memorable🙂 John and Renate

The location was superb, the spa area was wonderful, the room cleaning staff and waiters and were super friendly. The food was incredible, but way way too much food :) We loved our stay overall.

We shared a balcony and couldn’t use it at all due to the chronic smokers next door. Would appreciate if the property instilled a no smoker policy on the room balconies. It is very unpleasant and we couldn’t even open windows in mornings and evenings to ventilate our room.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Everything was of the highest standard. Large and clean rooms, excellent spa, dinners were a special gourmet experience. Always smiling and helpful staff. Easy parking in the garage. Free guest cards to use the lifts and other activities. Well invested money, we will definitely be happy to return.

Perhaps only free passage and common balconies.

Breakfast had a fine variety of breads, cheeses, meats and fruit. Made to order omelets were available. Took the HB option and each dinner had 4 entree options which never disappointed; these were all 6 course. An Ischgl pass was given allowing once a day gondola transit at Ischgl and several nearby towns and unlimited bus service giving access from Landeck to a hikeable reservoir to the west.

Because my room fronted on a sometimes busy road (the only thru route in town), it could be pretty noisy (figure commuter hours) but shutting the windows did the trick.

Salnerhof exceeded our expectations. Super friendly staff. Delicious dinner. We were hesitant to add the dinner option in our reservation, and we were fortunate to add the dinner. We enjoyed the dinner options everyday and the service was topnotch. Definitely we are coming back in our future vacations.

Shared balcony. Since we were visiting Austria for the first time, we were surprised to see a shared balcony. However, if you want a private balcony, make sure to book room/suite in the highest floor.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent food! Not only diner and breakfast (both included) were excellent and treated with care (like a la cart) but also lunch and service on terras was very very good!

Small swimming pool

We stayed half board on our minimoon. Amazing breakfast and evening food - could not have asked for anything else. The salad buffet was unique - I've never seen variety like it. The menu selection was great and always interesting to see what was served up. Superb selection and attentive staff. The spa was nice. Hotel staff and reception were great - accommodating and personable. Hotel bar was nice for a drink - excellent range of cocktails. Room was spacious, good shower and comfortable beds with the balcony.

A little hot in the rooms - no temperature control. Would have elected to leave the balcony door open but shared balcony and some noise late evening.

Incredibly delicious food at breakfast and dinner, kind and helpful staff. Very nice location, central and close to the cable car. The best kaiserschmarrn we ate in Austria.
