We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! First of all, I want to highlight the very friendly and helpful staff — they were always ready to assist with anything, which made our stay even more pleasant. The hotel is located in a beautiful natural setting, and the view from the shared veranda is absolutely stunning. There’s also great parking and delicious breakfasts and dinners – everything was fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

A few minor downsides: — There are no mosquito screens on the windows, and since the hotel is in the forest, it was a bit tricky to leave the windows open. — There’s no kettle in the room or in the common area, which was a bit inconvenient. — The vending machines only accept coins, and you can’t pay by card, so if you don’t have coins, it’s hard to buy anything. Luckily, the staff helped us out again.

Excellent location, only a few minutes by foot from the cabin lift station of Semmering. Splendid view from the common terrace, where one can enjoy a glass of wine or beer in a calm evening. Only about 15-20 rooms, so it was not crowded. The staff was generally kind and helpful. Several options to play board games or table football in the evenings or in bad weather. The breakfast was quite common (still sufficient) and the dinner was very tasteful, incl. cooked meals (no bread though in the evening). We had to get used to the rather early time of the breakfast (7-9 am) and especially dinner (5:30 - 6:30 pm).

The hotel is a bit old fashioned, some renovation (e.g. the windows, or some flooring) would definitely improve the experience. We were unpleasantly surprised by the staff's reminder on the last day about the timing of the breakfast, although we still had about 20 min left before its end. We were also asked to pay for the consumed drinks in the middle of the breakfast instead of afterwards or at check out (perhaps they had bad experience with other guests in the past).

Great place to stay. The room was spacious, comfortable beds. We had a room with a view to the mountains which was amazing! Breakfast was excellent as well with a lot of variety. The staff was very friendly and helpful and have us all the information we needed with great smile.

The front desk is not occupied all the time even during the day so you need to wait for someone to arrive. We asked to store our luggage after checkout and apparently it costs. I don't know if that's common to Austria but it came a bit as a surprise to us.

I want to express my gratitude to the hotel team. Especially for the host who welcomed us so well, an extremely polite and friendly lady who prepares breakfast. I recommend the hotel for some rest time and to enjoy a clean, well-structured environment.

If we can just say something, it wasn't so perfect. It is possible to notice a slight bad smell in the room, I don't know if it is due to a sewage system or something. but it was just a suggestion for you to check. Nothing can take away the prestige and excellence of the place.

Breakfast is very good , wifi worked well , nice view from the room, locations is excellent, temperature of the room was very good , dinner was simple but very taste , nice hot shower.

We stayed in a room for 3 and it’s very small but was ok for 2 nights , The smell from the bathroom is very bad :( Also at the check out time the manager didn’t allow us to leave the car in the parking from the hotel (we went skiing) , I can’t understand why because is a big parking lot, it doesn’t make any sense :/

I was a bit worried after seeing other reviews, but everything was perfect. Friendly staff that spoke our language, nice and warm bedroom and bathroom, great breakfasts, dinners with a bit limited choice, but plenty of food and always at least one completely delicious option. Great location for skiing and in case you come by train, they can arrange a service to take you to the station (in case there is no skibus on the day of your departure). If you want to use sauna or anything else, you need to pay extra. I prefer this option - cheaper price for the night and payment for extras - from paying more for the night with all the extras included. I would say the staff went above and beyond to make sure we have the best experience.

Please be mindful that this establishment is primarily not a hotel, but is used for rehabilitation. Because of that there are no curtains around the shower in bathroom, for easier access, and also dinner is served a little bit earlier. We didn't mind at all, though we were initially a bit surprised.

Good location, just a few minutes walk to the town center. Very friendly welcome and care. The very sterile-looking room was big enough and clean and the bathroom was fine. The quality of the breakfast and the selection were ok. Overall the hotel is ok for one or two nights.

Unfortunately, the shower without any splash guard floods the entire bathroom. The TV is ancient and very tiny. Unfortunately, the windows are tarnished and prevent you from seeing the beautiful view.

The staff were great. The breakfast was extensive. The view from the front is excellent. The shower was brilliant.

The TV only had a few channels and it was very slow. The hallway echoed all the talk and noises. No chair, had to use bed to watch TV.

Hotel was clean and the family room was a decent size with a nice size balcony with decent views. Hotel reception is not 24h but staff stayed back to check us in. Feels more like a family run hotel than a chain.

Could do with Air conditioning in the roof as it go extremely hot during the night.
