The hotel had a very homely feel, staff (owners?) seemed very invested in making this hotel feel special. On the Danube Cycle path it was easy to find and great for our final cycle to Wien. Room well decorated and the breakfast was next level (cereal, meats, cheeses, pastries, egg bacon etc etc,coffee superb) easy walk into town, lock up for bikes, nice touch was a coffee machine outside our room to help ourselves

Perhaps we hit a hot spell on our Austrian week but none of the hotels that didn't offer A/c think to put a decent (cheap as chips) floor fan in the rooms We did ask for one and they kindly provided us with a rather noisy tower fan. As it turned out the night wasn't so hot.

Perfect in every way! 8-10 minutes on foot from the Tulln Donau Stadt train station, large rooms (I opted for a river view). I arrived early but was given immediate access to my room without even having to ask (quite a rarity in most hotels!). Despite the heatwave and no in room air conditioning, the close proximity to the river (literally a stone’s throw away from the Danube) meant I could leave my window open and sleep very comfortably at night thanks to the breeze. The location couldn’t be more ideal, you can see the Donaubühne Tulln stage from the window, the beautiful Tulln gardens can be accessed from the back of the hotel and there are lots of cafes and restaurants a few minutes away. Breakfast was varied and abundant with the owners refreshing supplies all the time. Perfect for a single traveller/couple/family/friends trip, lots of facilities for cyclists and walkers.

The hotel situated right next to Donau. From our room, we can see the river and it was very charming! The room was spacious and was beautifully furnished with antique furnitures. The staff of the hotel are couldn’t be more thoughtful and accommodating. Bastian at the front desk patiently waited for our late arrival and made every arrangement to make our stay pleasant and convenient. We also enjoy its breakfast very much, which is fresh and high quality of the food it offers. The jam is made by the inn owner’s wife if I am not mistaken (I was told “it was made by my mom” when I asked the young man who served us at the breakfast table) and it simply was the most delicious I have ever had!! They even generously gifted us some when I asked where and whether we can buy some (it is purely home-made and nowhere to buy!) Our random one-night stay surprisingly turned into an impeccable, lovely journey of itself thanks to the care the hotel staff paid to its guests. This is something one cannot easily expect but only encounter as many things in life. Thank you.

Quaint hotel in beautiful setting next to the Danube. We had a generous sized room with comfortable bed and period decor. The service at check in was excellent with very helpful staff, including dinner recommendations. Parking was convenient and breakfast was in a sunny room overlooking the river. The common area was like a period lounge with books and armchairs. The hotel was also walkable to the city centre.

We initially did not discover the main entrance in the side street but this was not a problem.

Wonderful location beside the cycle path as we are cycling the Danube Trail. Excellent location to walk Tulln. Very helpful staff. Large, clean well appointed room. Excellent bed. Great shower. Free coffee in the lobby anytime. Very nice accommodation.

Hotel Nibelungenhof is our choice for the second time and we will come again next year for sure. Everything was perfect, staff was extraordinary helpful and breakfast was excellent. Location nearby Danube is really great, walking was extraordinary with lot of possibilities...

There was a lot of free rooms , but next day the manager asked us to check out at 10:30 … I think it’s very early. Anyway we divided to stay one night more . The breakfast was very simple but testy. I count that the 4 star hotel should be much comfortable if we speak about the facilities. In general our stay was nice .

Very kind staff, clean room with separate bathroom and toilette, excellent position nearby the River Danube with nice view and walking area, breakfast was excellent with great coffee, peaceful place, free parking in front of the hotel and WiFi was very good... So, we had excellent experience and we will come back again for sure. Tulln is really a pretty town with nice city center and surroundings.

Great location and very accommodating and friendly staff/owner. The rooms are nice and the interior design is old fashioned and sophisticated. I especially love the art pieces hanging in the hall.

The pillows were not ideal for my personal choice, but overall we were very happy with our stay.

Location was perfect for us just along the bycicle path. Our room was facing the Danube, pretty nice view. As it was humid it would have been nice to have AC, but was not a big issue. Breakfast was very tasty with good selection. Would definitely return.
