We had a great stay in the Wyndham grand hotel! There was amazing 10/10 service from all staff at the resort from the reception and front of house team to the waitresses and servers everyone was so helpful. The rooms were an amazing size, clean and bed was comfortable. Nice size bathroom and good shower. We loved the Sam Castle View restaurant was amazing. The food was amazing fine dining and the service was perfect. Food overall was lovely and drinks were lovely - made very well! Really happy that we chose this hotel, even though it is on the coast of the island and slightly further out, the hotel has a free shuttle busses to oistins and the beach and it’s very easy to get a taxi! We were given Paul as a taxi on most days and he was amazing really nice, helpful and happy to transport us and show us around the island. Staff to thank - Rechad (on reception) - he was really helpful from the beginning and made us feel very welcome The man in charge of the hotel evening entertainment The female breakfast chef who made my boyfriend his own Bajan bakes due to his allergies! Thank you so much!

The only thing we would recommended are 1. The air con in the room was very cold and we were unable to turn it off, but once we turned it down and climatized to it, it was okay. Maybe it needs to be able to go higher to make you feel warmer. 2. The resort is very big and it would help to have signs around the resort to make it easier to know where you are going.

The resort was clean and modern. The staff were friendly, and most of them were willing to help out at all times. It's a beautiful resort with lots of nice areas to relax. Food had a very nice variety as well and you get a few complimentary shuttles to some tourist sites.

We weren't informed about the resort a la carte formal restaurant and almost missed out on the most delicious and beautiful experience. I'm not sure why we weren't told about it, but thankfully, some other guests we met recommened it. Please note that they also have a very strict dress code in the restaurant, so watch out for that. In the rooms, a lot of things are available on request, i.e., bathrobes etc, so just ask.

It’s beautiful, clean, comfortable. It has a lot of good things. The view of my room was absolutely gorgeous. The food was good, the staff was really nice & friendly.

The beach is way too rough to swim in unfortunately. It’s a bit far from downtown, bit of a drive (like 25-30 min), if you prefer a longer drive to be in a calmer area, this is good for you. If you want to be close to the party and people, this is not for you. The elevator didn’t work in my building for the last day.

Food was amazing 10/10. Facilities were nice. Room was wonderful. Family friendly environment. When i arrived at the airport to return home, i thought i forgot my passport in my room, i reached out to the hotel via whatsapp and they were very accommodating and very helpful. Turns out it was not there (another story for another forum)

DID NOT LIKE No complementary airport transfer Spa services were not included in the all inclusive stay. Emergency drill went off, ran out of my bed, no one to direct you when we got to the ground floor. After a couple minutes being confused and having to find a staff member, they casually responded (oh no, it was probably a mistake, or someone smoking in their room, y'all can return to your rooms) OBSERVATION No streaming services on TV or option to sign into you own accounts. No plugs at bedside.

The staff were very friendly! I felt cared for and attended to as soon as I stepped on the grounds. The food was great and the pools where clean. Everything was clean actually. This is one of the best resorts/hotels I’ve stayed at. I felt comfortable my whole stay.

The only thing I would like to see more of is more food options in the buffet.

The hotel’s location was stunningly beautiful. The natural tropical beauty of the beach and the ruins of the old castle make it so interesting. It’s a quiet area unspoilt by tourism. But if you want to find more tourist spots this can easily be done by bus (stop outside the hotel) or by taxi or hire cars. The locals that use the beach and sell shells/jewellery are so friendly and will offer their local knowledge about the St Phillip area and Barbados generally. Personally they have made my holiday extra special, particularly as I was holidaying alone. There is also a fisherman living on the nearby in a shack on the beach, he’s so welcoming and I hope he can continue living there like he does. The local people here are happy to share their knowledge and it’s a knowledge that is increasingly at risk of being lost. The hotel itself is stunning, there is a good choice of food selection and the staff are very helpful.

The breakfast was wonderful, they had a variety and the freshly squized orange juice was really nice.

When the floor was noped in the room it stayed damped for about a day and some,and the calypso rice was like bullets(really hard) and wasn't flavored.
