The staff were wonderful really friendly. The food was excellent I only had buffet once it was a la carte and there was a varied menu every night.

The beach was tiny and you couldn’t take the beds on the beach.

We loved the location right on the ocean and the ease of access in the resort. It felt homely and incredibly welcoming. We were in an accessible room and the facilities were splendid. Staff couldn’t do enough for us and every single one went out of their way to make our stay perfect. There were activities on offer and a gym which Mr L used almost daily (he loved the aircon) The manager, Caroline was fantastic, always had a cheery smile and time for a chat. Nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment was very good, and enjoyable. Food was exceptional. Beautifully presented and so tasty particularly the fish. We preferred to sunbathe by the ocean rather than the pool which is just our preference. Pool area very clean and well maintained plenty of loungers and Staff happy to serve you at your seat. The rooms were cool spacious and very clean. All in all a wonderful place to visit and can’t recommend it highly enough.

There was nothing for us to dislike

The location in St James was excellent and we were there for the Hole town Festival which we didn't realise when we booked. The staff here are amazing and the reason why many people come back year after year.

The bathroom was very basic but it didn't matter in the bigger picture.

This was our second stay in adults only hotel , loved the upgraded room we had with a separate lounge . Location perfect other than no actual beachfront with loungers . Pool is great with lovely grounds and plenty of loungers , fantastic under cover area with amazing comfy chairs and a fabulous bar .Subtle evening entertainment with a good sized dance floor . Piano bar for after 11 pm was great had a sing and a dance . Food was of good quality with lots of choice .

Pool needed cleaning Some staff stood out friendly smiling happy in their work however I can’t say that about everyone , restaurant staff were friendly and worked hard . I think the hotel could facilitate a better way of getting in and out of the sea .

It is a very friendly hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would return there.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable & spacious. The food was of high standard with many delicious menu choices. The staff were professional, welcoming & very accommodating. We were very happy here & enjoyed ourselves immensely. We would have loved to stay a few more days.

Of course it would be nice to have a beach in front of the property, next best thing it’s a short walk away. We made the booking 8 months in advance & requested rooms next to each other. Instead, one of the rooms was 3 floors up in one block & the other was 3 floors up in the next block so not very convenient sharing items between rooms.

The food was good. Much better than most buffets. A la carte too. Always fresh and healthy items available if you want them. The roast meats were good. Nothing was overcooked and dried out. Lovely grounds and not too big. Cozy atmosphere. Beautiful lounging area along the seaside for sunbathing and watching the stunning sunsets while having a drink. Great lounging around the pool area too. Very adequate and charming place. Staff are lovley.

We were in a loft bedroom. Although there was some charm to it…the view right on the ocean was stunning ….the bathroom was awful. No where to plug in hair irons curling irons etc. the hair blower provided is one of those ancient things attached to the walls that looks like a vacuum and does nothing to dry one’s hair- useless. Please get rid of those and supply proper hair blowers…a basic feature for any hotel. The bathroom (at least in loft room) really really needs upgrading. That is our only complaint about this charming resort.

It was a great price for an all inclusive resort on the Sandy Lane in Barbados! Yes the crew is a bit older generation and the entertainment program is focused on water aerobics and some live 90s hits performances and yeah the food was good enough (does get boring after a while) BUT we got 5 nights for around $1600! Please note Sandy Lane hotel which is a 3 minute walk charges $2200 per night. You are a 10 minute walk to Holetown with some amazing clear water beaches. We started our days in the gym that conveniently opens at 6am and were lulled to sleep by waves on the lounge chairs. Note we are not big into the party scene and genuinely enjoyed our peaceful getaway. Special shout out to the taxi driver Ian who delivered my forgotten in the lobby carry on straight to the airport 20 mins before boarding:)

Entertainment program was targeting elder guests Repetitive food menu - all the fruits were very tasteless and rubbery so lived off of salads Lounge chairs by the water get taken at 7-8am so if you didn’t get one your only option is by the pool Had to ask to change the sheets twice as they do get sandy fast from the floor. Also shampoos and conditioner were never updated had to ask some on reception.

Just got home from our stay at The Club Barbados, I would like to say a big thank to Caroline the Manager & all of her staff, everyone went out of their way to make sure your holiday is enjoyable and stress free. I have already looked at booking for next year, looking forward to seeing you all again.

You can't really fault this Hotel, great value for money, great location & very helpful staff.

Really spacious rooms. Super clean. Quiet and calm environment. Big pool. Plenty of chairs and shade. Lovely beach access. The drinks are AMAZING!! Heavy poured & delicious!! No water down all inclusive here!

Beds are hard. The food leaves a lot to the imagination. Breakfast buffet has few options and is the exact same every day. Lunch & supper few options & everything is so dry. We absolutely LOVED this place but the food was the biggest fault. I survived the week on the desserts
