This was my family and I’d first time in Barbados and I am happy we stayed at Sea Breeze. The staff was beyond courteous, respectable, accommodating, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure our stay was worth wild. The facility definitely has a home feel. The cleanliness was as expected. I would say the amenities can be updated but they are well kept up with.

I would also recommend more food options. The food quality is good. However they can have a better variety. Also the wifi was 6/10 because it did not work well in every location of the property. Thus, it did aid in me being able to disconnect to live in the moment.

The breakfast was pretty good. Everything was buffet style. The dinners were lovely. Bring some “resort dinner clothes”. I didn’t expect it was going to be required and ended up going into town for a dress. The men need pants and a collar for dinner. The staff was very very nice for the most part. The best part was there were adequate lounge chairs. We never had to battle for a place to sit. Also the drinks were strong- not at all stingy with the alcohol. The bed was comfortable , AC worked just fine

The bathroom door in our room was broken and was replaced with basically a white piece of plywood which you had to kind of get some momentum going to close and then hope you could pry it open when you were done since there was no handle. I mentioned it to the housekeeper but nothing happened.

Fresh cooked breakfast was good. Very good omelettes. Meals in the Cerulean restaurant were very good.

Fruit salad seemed to run out frequently. Coffee was too weak.

The staff were fantastic

The evenings in the hotel are very dull the lack of choice of restaurants becomes very boring after 7 days of eating and sitting in the same place. The sea was full of seaweed so was unable to go into the sea and use the beautiful beach I found so annoying because we booked the hotel because of the beach

Staff was amazing. Daily cold washcloths by pool were fantastic. Beach was just breathtaking. Rooms were beautiful.

Property needed some repairs- pools were missing tiles, hot tubs were not functional, beach chairs were mainly broken. Rooms had some repairs needed. Needed some more nightly entertainment. Needed nightly menu changes with only a couple of restaurants to order from. Also, restaurants were unbearable hot a couple of nights.

There were a couple unfriendly staff. Following is one incident that led me to say so. We went by a carving station once and no one was there. My son went on to take his meat. The Mr came and saw him and raised his voice at him which was very distasteful. Also, my room weren’t properly well cleaned. I met a tooth pick that looked used on the floor. Also, when the lady came to clean my room, she saw the toilet dirty and did not clean. I had to tell her about it after seeing her again. Another day she came, past the toilet brush without the holder through the apartment before and after cleaning the toilet. Now I don’t have to say that it will drip on the floor.

There was a special relaxing vibe that you don’t often find at hotels. The staff also were all excellent and treated the guest with respect and warmth

The birds flying in at the Mahogany restaurant at breakfast. Which this was a very natural and open feel it wasn’t for me personally!

We liked the facilities, restaurants and of course the Rum Shop! The rooms were sizeable and clean and looked great. The beach was lovely and the sea trampoline was a bonus the whole family enjoyed.

We had a bit of sargassum but it was dealt with quickly by the beach staff.

The staff were amazing, especially Deniko and the captain Lou. The food is great, lots of variety, we are pescatarian and found the menus great. Drinks service at the sun loungers. Enjoyed the yoga, gym and water aerobics. Free water sports.

We did not get the room configuration we booked on booking.com, they couldn’t change our room so our sleeping arrangements were not ideal. One day they took the towels from the room, we called room service three times and offered to collect but we didn’t get towels that night. On the last day our aircon broke and we had to move rooms, not ideal.

I can not recall names sorry but we met and dealt with several wonderful members of staff at the Sea Breeze. The lovely lady in reception who always has a smile and was really helpful, (I even asked your name and now I’ve forgotten sorry) you sorted out a room after our flight was cancelled and changed our taxi. The lady who makes our eggs and omelettes in the buffet area - she is always smiling and so welcoming. Such a joy to be greeted so warmly on a morning. ALL the people who have waited on us in every place- soooo many have been wonderul and it is truly appreciated thank you. Told you I was rubbish with names- next time I will take photos! Many many thanks for helping us to make the best memories ever with 3 generations of family.

We didn’t like the noise of the barking dog who woke us up very early every day. Plus seemed to know when we were having an afternoon snooze so woke us then too!
