This hotel was really a surprise. We booked late in the afternoon on the way from one place to another. It was so comfortable! It was immaculately clean and there is a nice restaurant attached as well as a cute gift shop. The items in the gift shop were unexpected and very reasonably priced. I bought a few Christmas gifts here. I would highly recommend this hotel I also want to mention the front desk clerk was as nice and friendly as she could be. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

We liked everything, from the personal greeting at check in, to the welcome gift, to the discovery that we had a complimentary upgrade, to dining at the hotel. It was all wonderful! The location is perfect for those wanting to explore the area and for us as a stop over to the channel tunnel the following morning. Our room felt very homely and we would recommend it and be happy to stay again.

That we didn’t stay longer!

From walking into the hotel, we were greeted by the front of house staff, efficient check in and shown around the hotel. It is very well maintained and very clean in the communal areas and in the bedrooms. Excellent facilities. The staff and the food in the restaurant were lovely. We will certainly return when we are in the area or passing through. Can't recommend it enough.

Everything was great.

Various little things that wer're really appreciated. Comfortable bed, room with large clean windows, bathroom comfortable with a large shower,table chairs 2 tv's. Breakfast good for its price and friendly, efficient dining room staff. Easy free parking. A special thank you to the owner who took an interest in my wife who was not well on the last night.

I prefer the easy parking they have to offer here and then going to different places nearby via car. However if you prefer to pay to leave your car in a car park or garage then leave the hotel on foot then this might be a drawback for you.

Our crossing from the UK was delayed and we arrived well after the reception had closed. However, within minutes someone was attending to us and gave us all the information we needed regarding the facilities. We were given a small tray as a welcome gift as well as a small ballotin of Leonidas chocolates. When checking out we were given a generous incentive (3 nights for the price of 2) to use on our next visit. Also, the lady in charge made us feel very, very welcomed and enquired about our well being, this despite having herself also lost a very close family member a couple of days previously. We admired her courage in ensuring her clients were fine.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. The only thing we would have preferred would have been to have a room tab for our meals in the hotel instead of having to pay the restaurant after each meal. From our point of view, it would have been more practical.

We had an amazing stay at the Ara Dune hotel. Upon our arrival we received a little gift from their Cosy Home shop, and a gift for our son (little cars), which we really appreciated. The rooms are very clean and well decorated. The airconditioning works well, and other facilities (play room, small living room) were great. Good breakfast. I definitely recommend staying there!

From the very first polite phone call asking how late we would arrive, to the tour on arrival, the booking for dinner and the room was all perfect. A very well run family hotel and the receptionist was great. We can’t fault it.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the whole staff and management were very helpful and friendly took they time to make sure we were ok and went out they way to help we would definitely recommend to family and friends and will be happy to come and stay they again

Our second stay in this hotel this year Spotless, comfortable, friendly staff, Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner fresh fish beautifully cooked and presented . So peaceful at night.

There is ground work taking place at the nature reserve on the other side of the road.doesnt disturb but will look better when finished
