We liked all. They are very friendly staff even if they don’t speak so good Dutch but they make the effort. The location is great , offers a lovely view and you can walk to sightseeing different small streets that are very cozy. If you want to save money , check this Hotel in low season.

We don’t know if is like a rule in Durbuy or in Belgium , but Monday a lot of Restaurants were closed, included the Restaurants of the Hotel , which it was a pity.

The spa is wonderful, well worth the extra €50 to use, but make sure you book in advance! All the facilities we used were lovely, very comfortable bed and the staff were very helpful. We had a one night stopover en route to Spa for the F1 and it was a lovely bit of luxury before 4 days at a race track! Durbuy is a fab city, we had an excellent traditional Belgian meal at La Brasserie Ardennaise and delicious brunch at super cute Édouard Garden Café.

Our room was incredibly dark, the walls are painted black and there aren't many lights, had to use my phone to look in the wardrobe. Also the only mirrors are in the bathroom, so with two people getting ready is impossible, one in the shower the other has no mirror and is then in a hot steamy room trying to do hair and makeup (suspect a man designed this!) Everything is incredibly stylish but there are a couple of practical problems as a result. Stick a mirror over the desk and a light in the wardrobe and it's a 10 out of 10! Breakfast wasn't included and €35 pp seemed a bit steep on top of over €230 for the room.

The people in the hotel and in the restaurants are very attentive and friendly.

We stayed in the 'Superior' rooms 1203 and 1204 which are at the street side of the hotel. There was a lot of noise . As we were very close to the street, we could even feel the vibration of the cars passing by! Besides, the rooms were very dark, which made very difficult to even find our way in the room and the wardrobe! Maybe other rooms in the hotel are better, but I really don't advice to book these two rooms.

The room was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. The location of the hotel is very picturesque in the village/city with its little streets and 300million years old rock face! Pity that the castle is closed to tourists, and has been for years!

The room lighting system was a little awkward - hunt the required light switch!

The staff was wonderful very helpful and professional.

The room was quite small, but most of all we found that the lighting system was poor. Too dark and light pointing directly to your eyes. Found difficult to read in bed in the evening. Found difficulty putting my make up on because of the lights and to operate the shower properly without my glasses in because of the bat lighting.

The room is very clean and nice, the facilities are great. The spa is wonderful as well as the breakfast choices.

The staff at the breakfast had a very difficult time serving everybody and could barely speak any English or French (egg station). At a 5 star hotel with this price range you expect to be able to order a vegetable omelet without trying 3 times to get the order right.

Good location, an excellent service, comfortable rooms, Brusserie is an excellent resto (we will come back next year). Last year we had a linch in Wagyu restaurant, also very good. We had the best breakfast in Belgium. Ready to come back and pay 30 eur for it.

The price. It is too expensive - value for money is not good enough for us.

The room had a fantastic view over the river. Beautiful. It was also large with a very well fitted bathroom. The breakfast was very substantial if a little expensive. The location couldn't be better for Durbuy. We had booked a restaurant outside of the town and the hotel gave us free rides both to and from our dinner location.

Clean, great breakfast, very good wine list. We forgot a cardigan in the room and hotel mailed it for us home!

Balcony light can’t be switched off for the night but curtains are very thick and block the light well.

The Staff is excellent. Professional, friendly, they make things possible you ask for. They keep calm if something is not going as planned. The Location is just perfect to do anything around the area
