Villa Magdalena is a lovely house outside Bruges. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and relaxing private patio space overlooking a pretty garden. We especially appreciated the port and chocolate that greeted us.

Unfortunately there was a family with children in the room above ours who were either dropping things or jumping around above us late into the night and again early in the morning, which made for a far less peaceful stay.

The owner of the property is a very respectful and kind person. She received us in a sophisticated manner. I loved the garden and the tranquility.

Insects - The bathroom door in the outside room did not suit me because it has a hole between it and the ceiling and does not allow privacy - The weather is hot in the room that does not have air conditioning .. I booked a room with air conditioning and upon checking in it was not available.

We traveled as a group with three couples and it was important for us to be together yet have our own space. The location was perfect for getting away and yet having access to activities and sites in the area. The host was incredible! Excellent service, beautiful, clean and beautifully decorated accommodations, inside and out,! Host provided amazing hospitality in every way!!

Our three night stay was very pleasant and I would definitely return. The area was safe, great location, breakfast was excellent with much variety, and the hostess was kind and always available. We were very impressed with the estate decor and yard. I thought the atmosphere was very relaxing.

I do not have any complaints with the stay. I would like a list of recommended places for dinner. My GPS was not accurate. We were fortunate to find a place every evening on our own.

The house is stunning, Annalise is very welcoming. Breakfast was very good and served in a beautiful lounge or outside in the garden. Good facilities in the bedrooms.

We had the garden room which was a little compact. There was an air con unit right outside which was quite noisy in the night.

The villa was clean and comfy and had such a warm, home-y feeling when walking in. Our room was upgraded upon check-in and it was beautifully decorated and clean. The bed was comfy, and a big bathroom; good parking spaces on the property. We also had a small welcome drink and Gent candy waiting for us in the room. The attention to detail was super! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great location. Clean. Nice host. Good for couple or family.

Clean and good central location. There were issues with the heat for the time we were staying which made it difficult especially as it was particularly cold. There was no offer of compensation for the two nights which would have been nice. Otherwise it’s a very nice bed and breakfast.

Beautiful property, delightful hosts, delicious breakfast. Very convenient for visiting Ghent and Bruges. Use of living room, terrace and splendid garden. Free parking.

Brilliantly furnished and decorated room and public areas, extremely comfortable, very nice garden, very reasonably priced drinks, friendly and helpful welcome. There's also anewly opened Indian/ Me / Thai restaurant immediately opposite, which sounds unusual but is actually great

Nothing not to like, really a 100% great experience, exactly what we needed after a 10 hour journey

This is the second time we’ve been here. I absolutely love Villa Magdalena - we are already planning to come back for the Xmas markets in Bruges and Ghent. I’ve traveled all over Europe and this if my favourite place to stay.
