The hostess was warm, so warm I felt compelled to hug her. We had a beautiful apartment and while the stairs were a little bit, tough on my husband for a moment the Wheelchair access once he was in the room was phenomenal. The beds were super comfortable and sober the pillows, very important! Breakfast was delicious, so much food and so much attention to detail everything fresh and crisp. Parking was free and easy and in the morning we had an amazing walk in the forest.

Everything was perfect, as this authentic case, there was no elevator in this charming old château.

This place is old fashioned and beautiful. It's in a rural and quiet location. Parking was easy. It was winter, so we didn't get to enjoy the garden, but for warmer seasons, this could be a lovely bonus - it's beautiful and well looked after. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Although we arrived late, the host was able to wait for us and even called to check all is ok. Bathroom was big, comfortable, everything worked well, there were good towels, nice lemongrass soap and shampoo, nice coffee and biscuits in the room, etc. We were able to order breakfast last minute and it was available. They also were lovely in catering for our requests (vegetarian and kids only eating cereal) - it was considerate and lovely.

A few comments to improve: EV charging - is just outside the hotel, but only allows for particular card owners to charge, so wasn't effective for us. I would consider allowing guests to charge and just add the cost to the bill. Host responsiveness - unfortunately she read everything but did not respond, so I didn't have information in time, although she was aware of everything and responsive to it on spot. One of the beds was too soft (for my liking), but the rest of us were very happy with their beds. Breakfast was ok in quality in a lovely dining room, but the price at 18Euro was probably on the expensive side.

The room is cozy, spacious and clean. The bed is soft and comfortable. They have free instant Coffee and tea¹ in the room. We'll definitely book this hotel again.

Because the hotel is a bit old, i think it's normal that we can hear footsteps from outside and from the neigbohring rooms.

Wow! We saw reviews of good food, but they didn’t come close to how good the food actually was. Superb! Our host was very welcoming and slipped easily between languages for her varied guests in residence. The colonial furniture was gorgeous. The gardens were lovely too.

We always have a fantastic stay at Ter Heide. Warm welcome, extremely comfortable hotel and very nice environment. Breakfast is also amazing. Whenever we have the chance we come back!

It was surrounded by green, silent and clean hotel. And also breakfast was really nice.

They can put some water bottle in the rooms because it is really hard to find a place to buy water bottle.

I really liked this hotel. its located in the very green area. the staff was very friendly. the rooms were clean. We enjoyed our stay there. This hotel is pet friendly.

Only the pillows they have provided were not very comfortable but its a small minus in comparison to all the pluses of the hotel.
