Eva is a delightful host! We felt amazingly welcome. The facilities were really nice, the rooym very spacious and the patio charming. We had free Belgian cookies, coffee and fruit handily available! :D Great location: a tram line and a bus line just some blocks away and a 20 min walk to the city historical centers.

No blinders on the windows. In Belgium, during Summer, that meant waking up around 5:30 by the rising sun light... But... nothing a sleeping mask would not solve.

Welcome chat with the hostess and her friendly and helpful information. The breakfast on request was amazing. We had some items that we requested which required cooking by ourselves but the rest of the breakfast was also delicious, especially the very freshly squeezed orange juice. The room (spa bath ) was spacious and comfortable. It's a 20 min pleasant walk to the heart of the old town and the parking on street at the door was €3 for 24 hrs

Not staying longer

This was our second year staying here at BNB Nest for the Ghent Christmas markets, and again, for the second year running, we were NOT disappointed. The location is just perfect, the facilities are great and the sauna in the room is the cherry on top. Eva and her partner have thought of everything to ensure every guest is comfortable on their stay. I think we'll be making this our annual go-to!

BNB Nest provided us with all we needed during our one week stay in Gent - good location, spacious and comfortable room, convenient kitchen and dining facilities. And a delicious breakfast when we asked for it. Eva was a wonderful hostess, and helped us with all we requested to meet the special needs we had.

The room was stunning and our host very considerate. She accommodated us with an early check in and provided us with more than what we needed! We were so impressed. The decor of the room was very tasteful and the room and sauna was immaculately clean.

We loved our stay, however the location was slightly too far out of the city centre for us. The surrounding area felt a bit unsafe to walk around so we relied a lot on Ubers.

Really friendly and helpful host, great breakfast and convenient location for the city - itself a wonderful place to visit. Our room had a sauna, another room had a jacuzzi - a novel idea and an interesting addition.

The stairs could do with a safety rail for young children. Otherwise, a perfect place to stay.

The room was unique and amazing. It's very spacious and well kept. The host was lovely, she showed us the place upon arrival, gave us local recommendations, and was simultaneously ready to help and respectful of privacy. For instance, access to the fully-equipped kitchen was possible 24/7, and there were refreshments in the fridge upon arrival. The breakfast, although somewhat expensive, was excellent and generous.

The only minor thing is that rooms are not too sound-proof. But since there is only one other room (and on a different floor), it is not an issue.

Lovely host, not far from city centre, use of kitchen was very helpful. Room was nice, clean, well-furnished and equipped. Bed was comfortable. Jacuzzi worked well. Drinks available, fruits, biscuits, free of charge.

The room was not sound-proof from the inside. We couldn't hear any outside noise or traffic, but were woken up by people from the room upstairs talking and another time by someone walking up the stairs. That made the room not feel as private as we had hoped it would be.

The Sauna in the room was quite nice, it made the experience at the hotel pretty unique.

The bathroom does not have a door! we were not comfortable with that, so if someone wanted to go the other one had to put on either music or go out of the room

it was a great location - 20 minute walk from the centre right next to a tram station parking directly opposite which was great only €3 for 24 hours beautiful rooms great staff and kitchen area, drinks and milk etc provided beautiful common areas to eat, drink and relax sauna was a great touch to the room and what an experience!

not well sound proofed rooms, but that depends on fellow guests and it’s an old house but that’s to be expected
