The apartment was perfect, heaps of room nicely decorated with all that you could possibly need. The apartment is very centrally located and an easy walk to all the main sites.

The entrance to the apartment is on a key pad locking device. We followed all the instructions and were able to get in at night and again after we had been out to eat but the next morning it did not work. we contacted the managers hoping they might be able to reset it, but nothing was done. In the end one of us had to stay while the other went out, so that we could still access the apartment. We only had one night so this sort of spoiled our time there.

The location was perfect! It was like a secret place to stay in the middle of everything. The room was easily accessible for dropping off purchases and grabbing jackets for the evening. Ghent was one of our favorite places we visited out of Amsterdam, Bruges, Paris, and Brussels. There were plenty of restaurants, pubs, shops, and sites to see very close to Gepetto's guest house. There is also a nice laundry mat which was a 4 minute walk called Wassalon Lavendel that we used in the middle of our two weeks in Europe.

The location is ideal right on the water and the property is within walking distance of everything, tours, pubs, the castle, boat rides, restaurants, shopping. The parking garage is about a 3 minute walk from the property. It’s not too bad, even if you need to make multiple trips for luggage. For those traveling with a stroller, you can park it on ground floor entrance area and it is locked behind the main entrance door that only 4 other guest rooms have access to. There is also a hall camera. We will definitely make this our go to Gent property.

Not a huge negative, but a heads up if you are traveling with kids. One of the Pink Room bedrooms is above the main entrance to the property. As a safety measure there is a very bright flood light that stays on all night. Even with the blackout curtains, the light shines into the bedroom. If you are light sensitive or the kids need it dark to sleep, you’ll have to get creative tucking towels into the windows to make the room darker.

Vey easy to get to the apartment from the train station. Large room on a quiet street in the middle of everything. We didn’t have to use public transportation to get to the main highlights of the city. It was a wonderful stay in the historic centre of Ghent. Walking distance from the main canal. Very silent at night. It was the hippest town we visited during our long trip through multiple cities in Northern Europe.

the location is very good for shops and the attractions. The check in was well instructed and easy to follow. The room size was generous and everything felt clean.

Our car was too tall for the nearby underground car park (1.9m) so we had to use the street for parking, but there was the 3-hour maximum stay rule, so we had to keep changing places, luckily it's not too much of walk.

Super central location for first-timers, beautiful and modern apartment style and spacious bedrooms!

For light sleepers and noise sensitive people, it can be quite noisy being so central and also when people come and leave in the apartment building. Smaller nitty gritty things: We were a bit unlucky and didn’t have any hairdryers, good to double check upon arrival, if you really need one. Could be some hangers in the bathroom for towels/bathrobe

Brilliant hosts of a beautiful apartment in the centre of Ghent. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was gorgeous. We had a lovely time here and would definitely recommend this accommodation to our friends.

We didn’t realise a window was open in the room (was open before we arrived) so we had mosquitos in our room on the first night.

Excellent location, beautiful place, looks like recently renovated, clean and super comfortable.

There was na issue when using the bath that the drain wasn’t working properly so it took a long time to drain and constant checking to make sure all water was gone. Nothing terrible just a bit annoying.

Excellent room, ultra modern, very comfortable, and stylishly presented. All fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality. Great price too and the location could not be beaten (right in the historic centre but on a secluded small turning). Really easy access with a simple to remember code so no need for keys. Highly recommended

We came to Ghent for our wedding anniversary and stayed at Gepetto's. The location is great - very central and close to the canal. The automatic check-in is flawless and the apartments itself are just as pictured - spacious, clean and very comfortable. Also the bath and shower facilities are very cool)
