The place is referred to as if it has a parking. I chose it specifically after filtering "parking" on Booking, because I was traveling by car. However, it is in a pedestrian area and you cannot even reach it by car. So why would you list the facility as if it has a parking?? I could have chosen a different one and save the money of the public subterranean parking for the weekend. I received so many extremely long messages with instructions and recommendations, that I ended up asking a recap to chatgpt.

Very clean accomodation with comfortable beds and spacious bathroom with separate toilet. Ideal location right in the city center. Easy check in and check out with automatically generated messages.

We booked the 'appartment', but it's more like a suite with two bedrooms. The bedrooms are spacious though. There is no common room, so the naming is a little bit misleading. I tried to contact the owners about specification for the coffee machine, but never got a response. In case you're wondering too, the appartment has a senseo, the room downstairs has a nespresso.

It's in a very central location, yet the apartment is so peaceful and quiet. It had all the amenities needed plus a kettle with tea bags and coffee maker with pods. I liked the design and the minimalistic approach to the apartment. Check-in was very easy and fast, we just typed the code in the keypad and were able to get inside the apartment. We had a very joyful evening with the friends and definitely considering coming back later.

Only very small things like there was no soap in the apartment but the host has already communicated this upfront so we brought our own. Also there were no shelves in the shower.

Spotlessly clean apartment with two bedrooms and a large bathroom with underfloor heating. The beds were very comfortable and we were sorry we didn't stay another night as our kids said it was the best sleep they had while in Belgium. Even though the apartment is just off a main city center street, it was very quiet. The host provided excellent communication throughout. The apartment felt very secure with multiple locks. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice a city Ghent was. There is a great vibrancy and energy while walking around the city. Beautiful buildings and the people were friendly. We'll be back.

No issues with the apartment. The list of places to eat, communicated by the host, could be updated. We walked to a few of them and they were permanently closed.

The flat in this beautiful city was very modern and clean with all facilities as promised, everyday access was easy via a keypad rather than keys, location was perfect and huge comfortable bed. Most enjoyable time was had by us both.

The responses and communication when it came to booking the flat were fast and easy but I had sent a message with a more specific question that I would have liked answered before leaving home and another with comments about difficulties traveling to the flat (the instructions for transport provided sent us in the wrong direction and caused a bit of stress on our arrival in Ghent) but received no reply to either message from the otherwise very friendly owners. This was rather disappointing given how fast they sorted out possibilities for our stay and messages regarding the city tax!

The location is great. Very central. Walking distance to everything you want to see and do. Personal recommendations were a nice touch. We were able to store luggage. The keypad lock system is good as you don’t have to remember passes.

We stayed on the ground floor apartment. The blue room. Unfortunately we overlooked the dirty alley and couldn’t keep the windows open because mosquitoes got in and it was very noisy. We were woken early (6am) both days by garbage collection and on second day by children in the hallway/ on the stairs. It was quite hot and the cooling didn’t work but there is a small fan. We also ran out of hot water and the towels were quite old. I find it weird the hosts message saying “please bring hand soap if necessary”. I’m unsure when hand soap is not necessary. I’d rather have hand soap than shampoo. I also found that the messaging from the hosts was excessive and annoying.

I loved EVERYTHING about this property! As soon as I booked, I received a message from the hosts with a welcome and all the practical information I needed - even which tram to take and where to find the tram when I walked out of the train station. Having a code instead of a key is so practical! And the instructions in the message were very detailed about how to use the code system! I really appreciate the follow-up message I received just before check-in with reminders of important information, as well as the reminder message just before check-out. It made things so easy and stress-free! The location is perfect! It’s close to everything, but a few steps down a quiet side street so no noise whatsoever. Being able to leave luggage before check-in and after check-out is perfect, and I love that there are shelves in a locked closet for this! And I have to point out how impeccably clean it is!! That goes for my room also! When I opened the door, I just said, “Wow!” So large, bright, modern, clean and comfortable! Both the room and the bathroom! Definitely one of the best places I have ever stayed!!!

Well presented and looked after property. Exactly what we needed and the hosts were accommodating with all our requested, with quick response times. Very central location.

The bed was a little soft for me but my wife was comfortable. As we had a young baby we ate takeout every night in the room, this accumulated a bit of rubbish and it wasn’t clear where this should go - we ended up taking it out and stuffing in the street bins along with the nappies.

Beautiful apartment located right in the center of the city, steps away from everything you want to see. The apartment is well appointed, comfy beds, good sized rooms, and a beautiful bathroom. Communicate with the host was great, and getting in and out of the apartment with the keypads was simple and worked well.

This apartment is just two bedrooms, with an awesome bathroom. No kitchen or living area. We knew this going in, so just know what you are booking. The location more than makes up for it. We stayed in the 2nd floor ‘Pink Room.’ One of the rooms faces the alley and the alley has a very bright light, which creates a bright room at night. Bring eye masks to sleep!
