The room was very good - albeit there was a bit of a smell when one first entered and that sometimes lingered. We couldn't ascribe this smell to anything in particular - drains, the bathroom or an external source. It was a little off-putting. We were visiting relatives nearby and thus we only slept and had breakfast in the hotel. The breakfasts were excellent and, couldn't be bettered for choice, quantity or quality.

We were not informed prior to arrival that there was extensive refurbishment work being undertaken on one of the bedroom blocks. The work didn't affect our stay but this was an unprofessional oversight on the part of the hotel - the drainage work associated with this refurbishment may have been the source of our smell. As a consequence of the refurbishment work we were given a 'sorry' card that entitled us to free coffee. We had breakfast included in our hotel costs and there were coffee making facilities in our room. Thus, in reality, this was a hollow and unused gesture on the part of the management,

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Beveren. The interior design of the hotel is tasteful and well-maintained. The bed in my room was exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. I would especially like to highlight the gentleman at the front desk that evening — he was incredibly friendly and patient, which made the check-in experience smooth and welcoming. The breakfast was also a highlight of my stay: rich in variety and quality, easily comparable to what you’d expect from many five-star hotels in Europe. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The room was so nice and you could only hear a train/ tram but it was not much of an bother as you may think. The staff was so nice and understanding. There was a dirty pillow and they immediately send staff up to clean it. We had a late check-out (due to problems with our car) and only stayed 20 minutes later then the check-out and they did not charge us. break fast was also good. if you are by car there are so many stores, restaurants close by. Never been more relaxed even after the stress with the car.

Breakfast was excellent, best I've had at any hotel in last 12 months, steak in the evening was excellent to but kids menu was limited. Room was clean modern and very comfortable, all staff were very helpful, polite and accommodating.

Unfair to comment as hotel is remodelling, pool was closed which disappointed my son but understandable. It was one of the reasons I choose the hotel so fault was with booking.com who should have made this clear on their site, no fault of the hotels.

The hotel is a great place to stay with your family and relax. The rooms are comfortable and modern, the beds are comfy with nice bed linen, everything is clean and up to a high standard. The swimming pool and a spa area are clean and relaxing. The spa is to be pre-booked as they try to keep a low number of people there so you can truly relax. The swimming pool is not limited by time and kids are welcome there. Staff are friendly and you feel welcome even with little kids:) Food in a grill restaurant (there are 3 on site) was tasty and staff are polite and friendly. Breakfast has a great selection, all fresh and tasty. Overall, we loved our stay and will come back again in the future!

The payment was a bit messed because we had an upgrade and it was not calculated correctly. However, the staff effectively rectified the problem.

On the day of departure I left my smartphone in the room. after I returned to the room, cleaning was already underway. the staff said they found nothing. the smartphone was already turned off. 10 minutes passed. I went to the reception and showed who cleaned my room, they didn’t even ask what happened. I was left without communication on New Year's Eve. This is the first time this has happened to me. even when they forgot things at another hotel, they always called and asked that things were found.

We love this hotel and stay every August. The facilities are excellent (the pool, spa and kids play area are top quality) and the breakfast buffet exceptional value for money. We were upgraded to the new rooms, which have been really well done. To be fair, the older rooms are still great. Coffee machines in room are a great luxury touch. Staff are always helpful and courteous.

Gave a score of 9/10 as for second year running building works going on during our stay and mess in hallways wasn't ideal. As the hotel isn't cheap (especially dinner, which is pricey and slightly odd menu compared to what we would be used to in the UK) it's a disruption that has impact on overall experience. Fingers crossed all finished by next year.

The restaurant was very well staffed, had a wide variety of dishes, including local seasonal varieties. The room was up to Valk Standard and the parking lot had loads of electrical charging stations for parking.

The only downside that they have is that considering that the hotel is quite large, you might have quite a walk from the reception to the room and/or from your room to the restaurant. Other than that nothing to complain!

I thought the restaurant was excellent. The service was quick and the staff were attentive. I wanted to eat promptly, pay promptly and leave quickly.

My room, 416 was very comfortable, but did have a large damp patch at floor level near the door. This sort of decay needs to be attended to

Le Jardin Restaurant was excellent. Room was spacious and well designed. Staff, with the exception of the Nest on Sunday, we very helpful.

Service in the Nest on Sunday night was virtually non existent. Atrer 30 minutes we had only been given our menus. No drinks, no orders taken. We left! We were very well served in the bar outside.
