I arrived after reception had closed but the staff in the restaurant were happy to check me in. They let me know the kitchen would be closing shortly but I had time to order food, which was some of the best food I had during my trip. The decor was lovely, very modern but classy. The bed was large and comfy with nice pillows. The bathroom was spacious. There was a well stocked minibar if I wished to use it. There was plenty of parking availablr too.

Very minor things. The double bed was 2 singles with a double mattress topper so they started to separate slightly in the night. Also, there was a switch to turn off the main lights near the bed but it was in the middle of the bed near the pillows so easy to press accidentally.

New, nicely decorated hotel. Friendly reception. Well equipped and clean room (airco also) with kitchen and bed in the mezzanine upstairs. Also same style decorated restaurant and piano bar. Florenville as such is not so interesting, except church with beautiful view on the Semois and the Gaume area from tower. From this place you can easily reach all nearby locations: Bouillon, Orval, parc de la Gaume,... In front of the hotel is a 'salaisons' factory with a store on the main square. You can buy local products.

For the price paid breakfest could have been included. The restaurant has good ratings and was fully booked on Saterday evening. We made a reservation at arrival, but were put in the veranda without prior informing us. That was a bit disappointing, we missed the nicely decorated dining rooms inside. Service took quite long, was limit. Suggestion entrecote was not of the expected meat quality. So more brasserie quality overall than more refined dishes, a bit overprized.

The hotel is very close to Orval and an hour drive from Chimay. The restaurant next door is excellent. The calvados crepes for dessert were a great choice. There is plenty of parking, there is a bar next door with great beer on tap, and the rooms were comfortable.

we like to make our stop over in Le Florentin on our way to the Flanders - always a pleasure to stay in the comfortable rooms and enjoy a nice dinner in Le Florentin restaurant. the service is nice and people are very friendly. you also see the personal is happy to work in Le Florentin

nothing in particular / just one small remark regarding the electric charging / it’s charged at high price in the hotel - better to use a charging equipment outside the hotel

Great welcome for a second time at the Hotel Florentin. The rooms are clean & comfortable + the breakfast is delicious. On top, the staff is very helpful and polite even sent back my shoes (which I forgot) back to the Netherlands.

Room was great, breakfast selection was not bad either, very helpful reception staff member. Really nice hotel and good location.

Felt like the hotel was a bit too expensive for what was on offer and the room booked. Staff at breakfast was a bit rude to my non-French speaking partner.

Excellent location in the center of the town; huge free parking nearby and a free parking at the hotel; excellent restaurant Le Florentin (reservation required); great anchor point for traveling around the region!

I always enjoy visiting Le Florentin whenever I’m in Belgium. The ladies at the reception desk were nice and welcoming, the hotel itself is in a great location, and the room was quite spacious. As usual, I enjoyed my meal at the hotel’s restaurant next door.

The woman overseeing breakfast was unnecessarily aggressive towards guests.

The room was lovely (great shower!) and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Piano bar was nice, we enjoyed some pre-dinner drinks before heading off to the restaurant on site, which I recommend. Great location, plenty of secure parking and a nice breakfast selection.

Nothing negative but just a word of advice to other travellers that the bar closed at 9pm on the evening we were there (and not 10.30pm as stated in the room guide). Can be a bit noisy in the evenings due to location of 2 bars next door and across the road that play music, but it was a weekend so understandable.

Very friendly staff, a very nice quiet room, and the dinner was excellent.

To some, the nice lady managing the breakfast may come across as a bit too direct, especially when you do not speak French, but she means well!
