The room was quite large and pleasant, of modern design, with open shelves but no wardrobe; the bathroom was well equipped with a modern glass-paneled shower. Our balcony overlooked the lake so we had a lovely view. Breakfast was varied and very good, especially the coffee.

The receptionist was okay, but not really friendly. In the first room the electricity did not function; even after she'd switched it on using her PC, the second time we went back we were then given a different room. There were only two bedside table lamps, no overhead lighting in the main area of the room. I used my torch when making notes on the desk!

Nice room with good bed. We arrived on two motorcycles and could park in the parking lot right outside the room. The hotel has a nice terrace with a view of the lake below. The breakfast was nice and had a lot of choices.

Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sundays, which was the day we were there. But there were other options within walking distance, although very steep uphill. The room was very warm and it had no airco, but it was possible to have the window open.

A very nice modern hotel by the lake. Room, beds and bathroom are comfortable and clean. Good sound insulation. If you stay more than a day - I recommend to ask for the lake view - it's really nice. Breakfast is good and sufficient. There's a walking path (suitable for everyone, including strollers) around the lake that we took in the evening and it was really nice. We have seen playground for the kids by the lake and also board with maps for the longer walks in the vicinity. Overall we're very satisfied with our (short) stay.

I have used this hotel many times and the owner has spent some money to maintain the hotel which is great, as a few years ago it was in decline. The rooms are large and comfortable and the ability to open the window as a door to get luggage from your vehicle directly into your room is a big plus.

Unfortunately the Hotel lost restaurant staff during the pandemic, and the restaurant has gone from good value Great food, to very over priced and poor food. I have often travelled to the hotel by motorcycle and would have used it this coming summer, but the restaurant has put an end to that. Being on a motorcycle means you don’t really want to travel to get your evening meal.

Location. Lake is even bigger than in the picture. Planning to go to Boullion? Stay here. 30 minutes to Boullion and other attractions. Forest at the back of the hotel is good for hiking. Here local restaurants are excellant for dinner. The reception is very helpful and kind. I even made extra night to stay here.

They should provide more shower gel or shampoo.

Reception was most calm, absolutely polite and helpful. Rooms where super clean, the bed was of very good quality (we slept like two roses), and it was peaceful and quiet everywhere. Hikes where closeby in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was very good.

We felt that there should be a possibility to make hot water in the room, for a cup of coffee or a cup of tea. It was possible to buy a coffee or tea in the restaurant downstairs, but one is not allowed to take cups up to the bedroom (a bit of a silly rule from the restaurant). A small water kettle and some cups, some coffee sticks and tea are rather standard in every hotel I have been, so I wonder why this is not so here, in this otherwise fine hotel.

Hotel restaurant doesn’t open on Sunday and the “sister” restaurant was fully booked which meant I had to drive to get some food after a long day was slightly annoying. I didn’t realise that there wasn’t air conditioning in the room but overall I would definitely stay there again!

Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Big, clean room, suitable for people with dogs. Very comfortable bed and big bathroom/shower. Good selection of food at breakfast - lovely scrambled eggs. Beautiful view from the outside tables at breakfast.

No hot drink facilities in the room. No air conditioning in the room - did get a bit warm during the night. Impractical card key system - if one person goes out and needs the card to re-enter the hotel (e.g. taking the dogs for a walk after 10pm), the person who stays in the room will be left in the dark.

Simple hotel, we only had an overnight stay on a road trip but it suited our needs perfectly. The room was modern and pretty well appointed, comfortable and clean with a good bed and shower. We enjoyed a classic continental style breakfast next morning. The stay was good value.

parking was a little tight as the hotel was busy, but no other problems.

The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was extensive, and the location with a view of the lake was perfect... everything was more than okay!

The bathroom had a persistent musty and unpleasant odor that couldn't be eliminated. Despite the bathroom appearing clean, the source of the odor remained unknown. This issue detracted from an otherwise satisfactory experience.
