A very nice host, and beautiful place and location in Ardennes. It is in a small village surrounded by nature and we went for a beautiful walk. The furnishing is a bit of a potpourri but it was a very cosy and calm stay.

Beautiful Castle ,and very spacious ,lovely bed and Breakfast and Armand the owner looked after us well it was a fabulous experience

bed could be more confortable

Around the castle you will find dozens of animals incl fawns, peacocks, a big fat goose and a turkey, who live around a lovely rivulet. Inside the castle there is a lot of art (paintings, statues). The interior is beautifully renovated and painted with eye for detail. The owner is very welcoming and passionate about his property. He prepared us a great 3-course dinner in a beautiful private dining room with open fire place. Incl excellent wine.

We liked a lot the owner’s hospitality as well as the ambiance of the dining room with fireplace. The meals are a bit expensive but worth it and delicious. Little zoo with a beautiful backyard is great. We really felt we are in the nature.

The bedroom can be improved.

Great host, great food (really, try their menu!), great location, very clean. Perfect for a weekend away from everything - the domain is to die for with the ponds and the animals. There is a big jacuzzi, sadly it wasn't working whilst we were there, hence we'll have to come back one day! There is also a play room with a pool table, which is great for rainy days/dark evenings.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Okay for 1 or 2 nights, couldn't have stayed there a whole week

The renovation of the castle is amazing. The inside is a very nice mix of tasteful furniture and restaurated ceilings from mid of 19th century with splendid African art splattered here and there. Our room had a marine--theme, very nicely decorated... The gardens with a huge pond are lovely and you have a few animals on the property; (ducks, deer, turkey, goose, peacocks) that children will love. They use home cultivated vegetables and fruits for the meals (which were excellent... maybe a little bit expensive, but totally worth the money you pay. Your tastebuds will not complain. The lady of the house does the cooking, mixing European/French cuisine with a nice but subtle mix/touch of African cuisine). The owners are very accessible, incredibly friendly but discrete if need be. There is a game room for the guests with pool table, board games available, a little library with books for kids, a beamer and stereo installation. The dining areas are wonderful. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, you can even have a private dining room for the occasion, candle lit, fireplace, huge chandelier and mirrors with a salon attached to it. The garden in the back of the property also has a swing for kids, trampoline, lounge chairs... There is a lift to get your luggage to the rooms, no need to haul it yourself). I was not there for business, but I think they also have a kind of conference room (there is a kind of bungalow that can be/is used for business lunch, conferences etc... it's quite big... just ask the owner, you can really ask him anything ;-) I was quite impressed overall...

sometimes, the wifi reception (in the rooms, on the 2nd floor) can be a little slow or lagging, but if you go to a castle like that to spend your time online, you're doing something wrong ;-) Unless you're there for business, this should not be a real problem. The wifi reception in the rest of the property is ok though.
