Very cozy stay during the weekend of the Belgian F1 GP. We were very surprised with the quality of the bedroom. The lady who prepared our breakfast was very nice: on Saturday my wife asked by curiosity if they had goose eggs (as they grow birds locally), and they hadn't. Then, on the next day she found out some and served to her during Sunday's breakfast. That was a very kind gesture!

Scenic area close to multiple villages/towns in Belgium, Germany and Netherlands. Pretty view of a town on one side and horses on the other. Tiny mini fridge and microwave in the room. Friendly owner upon arrival but afterwards absent.

The website is very unclear regarding breakfast/tea/coffee. There was also no information at the hotel. Information regarding breakfast (only served on certain days for 18euro pp) cannot be found anywhere. There was no kettle or coffee maker in the family room or any basic amenities (for example, microwaveable cups to heat water for tea). The dining area in the pictures was locked the entire time and it was difficult to reach the owners for a cup of hot water so in the mornings we had to leave to a town to find coffee or tea. After asking each morning via text if we could get hot water, they did put a kettle in our room on our last night which was appreciated. Furthermore, we asked if we could use the hot tub and we received the answer that the next day we could. When we went to use it, we were told it was broken and couldn't be used. Really a disappointment as we specifically spent the extra money to book this place for the family friendly room and hot tub...AC was also broken/there were no instructions on how to use it. After 3 days of trying we still couldn't figure it out. Attic where the beds are was incredibly uncomfortably hot after the 27degree day. Pillows are so lumpy. This place has potential but it was disappointing.

I had firstly come to this property in 2024 and liked it so I decided to come back in 2025 and it turned out to be a terrible mistake. I had booked the Deluxe Double Room but when I arrived I was given the Family Room, which is much smaller, no bath tub, not very clean and with a very steep flight of uncomfortable stairs that you need to do to access the bedroom. The worst part of it is that the owner framed this as an upgrade, which is obviously not the case. When I made very clear that I had reserved a different room (and that I was also a returning customer), the owner claimed they don't get the details of the reservations from Booking, so they don't which rooms customers pick, which is very very difficult to believe as the price changes among rooms. I did feel like I was getting scammed. I was given the room I paid for from the second night but still fighting to get a partial refund for the first night as I have been unfairly overcharged. In addition about the Family Room: there is widespread mould on the blinds and the bed sheets were stained, the AC and wifi don't work, there is no hair dryer and there are spider webs a bit everywhere in the bedroom in the upper floor. In addition about all rooms: bring your own toiletry because you are given only a small 10ml soap bag. I asked for more and didn't get them. Breakfast is EUR 18 cash.
