Breakfast was a very generous and comprehensive continental style offering with a wide range of meats, cheeses, prepared and in-shell egg, fruit, waffles accompanied by good quality juice or coffee and hot drinks. Location was good - easy to access coming into the town off the motorway and just a few minutes walk from the Centre and the river. Good tourist information, including in English. Our room was a generous space, spotlessly clean, considering the age of the building, which was all of a piece with the overall charm and ambience. Facilities for hot drinks preparation appreciated, as were good blackout curtains at the window. Clear instructions re check-in times, a warm welcome and a basic car park adjoining made it a great stopover choice. I would certainly return if travelling in the area again.

The room didn't have a great view, but we chose to have a quiet room and a room facing the street would likely have been noisier.

Twin bedroom with bathroom vg .. paid extra €25 for twin with bathroom instead of single on 2nd floor... worth it. Bed soft but comfortable. Shower brilliant design with waterfall-type head. Fairly busy, slow moving traffic outside, but double…triple glazing on balcony doors worked well to reduce this. Good breakfast for €12.00. GF bread available! Very friendly & helpful staff. Car park adjacent to hotel with plenty of space with gates closed/locked at night. Several restaurants nearby within 5-10 minutes walk. Main railway station just across the road & to the left.

Some might not like old fashioned but classically beautiful decor/architecture but I loved it, it being full of character.

Location. I wanted a place near to the station, the town centre for a meal and the venue for a live music event on the night of my stay. This ticked all boxes. Friendly, welcoming staff who showed me the keys and where the bathroom and room were. Beware this isn't a modern building and retains the character of the stairs, high ceilings etc. My room was the lowest priced one. Room was perfectly good for a nights stay and matched the description perfectly. Bathroom on the floor below was good. A nice hot shower and towels provided. Value was particularly good and the need to use a bathroom on a different floor wasn't an issue again for a one night's stay.

Only slight nag was perhaps the time for the lights to stay on the timer switches could be a bit longer. They often went out in the time it took to get from one floor to the next.

This was a reasonably priced town centre hotel ideally located for our activity. The lady that ran the hotel (Manny I believe) was very welcoming and helpful. The room was a decent size, the shower was good and the breakfast was also good. I would stay here again if I ever found myself in Verviers !

Usual petty complaints, bigger towells would be nice, static soap/shampoo bottles are always trick to dispense etc but not really anything wrong with this hotel at all.

The staff were super friendly! The beds were comfortable and the hair dryer in the bathroom worked well. There was good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was really nice! Beware that Google maps will have you turn at the wrong exit at the roundabout! The private parking area right next to the building was a very nice added bonus! The decor is pleasant and I enjoyed being able to sit downstairs and sip a glass of wine by the window.

It's a really lovely hotel in like 20 walking seconds distance of the railway station! what you get is a stay in an old, lovey house with its own character. there's a need to walk some narrow steep stairs but still the shower and bathrooms are very modern - so really the best of all worlds. Plus the breakfast was great, self-cooked and tasted well. Additional it has to be said that the madam at the reception was very friendly about arriving late due to train delays - just underlines the positive, human character of this hotel

The only thing hat i disliked was the mattress of the bed - it felt a bit old and i had trouble sleeping in the first night, although it wasn't a factor from the second night, so it's a question of getting used to it.

A reasonably priced simple hotel, centrally-located in Verviers. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. We had bicycles which were stored overnight outside in the hotel car park, secured by a strong chain provided by the hotel.

The front rooms suffer from traffic noise. Reception closes at 1900 hrs, so no late check-in.

We arrived much earlier than we expected but that wasn't an issue. The welcome from Maggy was warm and friendly. Our room was very clean and had tea / coffee making facilities, a small fridge and a mobile fan / cooling unit, which was very handy as the temperature for September was almost 30°. The bed was very comfortable and we had a very powerful shower. Breakfast was continental but was varied and plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it felt very comfortable and friendly. Super value and great facilities for a 2 star Hotel. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I can't think of any negative, although the stairs might be an issue for some not so able.

Had a 2 night stay as I was doing a track day at Spa-Francorchamps. Hotel is in a great location close to motorway and only a 20min drive from circuit. The staff were really friendly and helpful and there is plenty of off road parking too. I stayed in a twin room which was super clean and spacious, and the shower was nice and hot too unlike other places I have stayed. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay again if I’m ever in the area again.

The only negative I can think of is the view out the window was just buildings, that said though the sun did rise on that side of the hotel and lit my room up nicely in the mornings. (I personally would happily stay in that room again).

Close to the music events I was attending at spirit of 66 in verviers a 10 minute walk from my hotel on 2 nights! Close to verviers central station you can travel from Bruxelles midi station directly to verviers central station! And maggy the owner of the property a welcoming host!
