The entire staff was so friendly & helpful, especially our Shuttle Driver Ronald. The Pier Restaurant complete remodel was so very well done, with great food & very friendly service. Stunning Pool area. Phenomenal landscaping.

Television reception at night was horrible, as it would freeze permanently. We were only allowed (oddly) one washcloth to share each day. Pier Restaurant Prices were way too high. Shuttle to Placencia Village was only available at certain restrictive times.

We had the best time at the placencia hotel, the welcome was lovely. Nice pool and spa facilities, very spacious room. All the staff were so lovely. I would return to this hotel, definitely recommend

It was about half an hour away from the main town so would recommend hiring a car or golf buggy beforehand because there wasn't any available to hire when we got there.

I was upgraded to a master suite which was very comfy. The staff was great; always friendly and helpful. I loved the excursions booked through them. The meals that I ate on the property were all tasty. The shuttle service into town is very useful. The spa is another great place to be pampered. The pool is also outstanding!

The resort is a distance from town and without a personal vehicle, it is a little inconvenient (though they do run a shuttle 4x/day). There are 3 dining locations on property but they are all serving the same exact menu. Lots of sargasso seaweed is washed up on the beach even though the staff works hard raking it up every morning. Just something to be aware of pretty much all over.

Atmosphere around the beautifully maintained pool was fun for both children and adults. I observed lots of playful family activities.

Dinner menu limited choices with no sides listed on menu. Prices high.

The food and service at the restaurant on the water were excellent! Stefanie went out of her way to do extra service for us.

Can't wait to see what the Placencia will be like once all of the construction/renovation is completed!

Its location.

Restaurant prices are definitely not affordable for locals. Therefore, we had to source dinner and breakfast elsewhere. Actually thought it was intentional to discourage locals. If so it definitely works.

Always stay here. Staff greets me & are eager to resolve any problems.

My AC didn't work to capacity. TV was broken but replaced, twice. No phone in room, had to ask for one. Parking lot & walkways were flooded. Had to wade to my car. Last day ceiling was leaking.

The pool of course. Best pool in Belize. Kids enjoyed seeing the iguanas, playing on the beach, and there's a large shallow area of the pool for them. The resort offers a free shuttle into Placencia and that's a great offer!

The gym gets flooded. The Tennis Courts are ruined. The TV/Technology is from the late 90's (at least before USB's). And the staff could show a little more excitement or smiles. The internet was decent but there wasn't a desk or business area that I could find to work.

I always stay at the Placencia when I do an inspection of my properties. The staff are always very friendly & helpful. The food is good & I enjoy the pool very much.

All was as it should be this trip.

Great staff people. Room, bathroom, liners and towel shower are clean. Food excellent quality.
