This hotel is absolutely beautiful. I was on a family vacation and we all agreed that this was the most gorgeous place we've ever stayed. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Carla and Roy were wonderful! This property is situated right on the beach. It has a small pool with a lively bar, but our favorite part was the beachfront lounge chairs. I could've stayed in that chair forever, and I still think about it, now that I'm home. This hotel is also nice because it's located in Placencia Village, which means we could walk absolutely everywhere. The food in the village is incredible and we ate somewhere different for every single meal. Many people have golf carts and had to drive into town, but our hotel was already in the thick of it, which was also our favorite part. The room itself was gorgeous. It has blue marble countertops, all new appliances, a lovely, spacious bathroom, a massive family room, and private bedroom. It was more than we needed as a family of three! We cannot recommend this place enough!

I cannot think of a single critique. I suppose the only downside was seaweed in the water - which is totally out of the hotels control!

Highly recommending the Ocean Breeze, speifically the "Mahi Room". It truly was spotless, providing us a large living /sleeping area with a valted ceiling with the best balcony overlooking the beach. We enjoyed going to sleep and waking to the sounds of the waves every day. This amazing covered balcony on the 2nd floor over looked the beach had table/chairs and couch and provided heaps of shade. Carla at recption was so helpful getting us sorted out with a last minute flight issue. The hotel was steps away from numeous restaurants, cafes, street food, shops and many opitons for daily tours. The A/C was appreciated at night and during the day the cross breeze in our room with the french doors to the balcony open provided us comfort during the day. It was the best option in Placencia and will highly recommend to many of my friends.

It seemed in Mid-April the area was unusually quiet and some of the smaller restaurants, hotels were closed. This might appeal to some though. The weather was perfect at this time.

The view was more beautiful than pictures; absolutely breathtaking. All staff warm, friendly and helpful. Excellent price for what you get. Bar and entertainment area very relaxing.

There was no chair in the room. I am 5’4” and the bed was too high to sit on comfortably, so I could never go sit down and relax in the room without getting in bed. The walk from the street (taxi)to the hotel is quite lengthy as was the walk to all amenities that are not in the hotel but bar tender was extremely helpful with ordering food. Definitely get the steps in!

Location was ideal. It is in the center of the village and walking distance to everything. It is steps to the beach, great pool/bar, chairs, umbrellas, towels, bikes, and kayaks included. It is very clean and safe. They are very willing and helpful suggesting eateries, booking tours and taxi to/from the airport. Everyone on the premise is extremely gracious.

Sargassum along the shore, but not a hotel issue, it was everywhere. You could walk to the pier, not far where the swimming was good or take a boat ride to Moho, which was beautiful!

Ocean Breeze is an incredible location right on the sidewalk close to all the restaurants, bars, dive shops. The hotel has its own bar on the beach, which makes it very unique - this was a really fun place to hang out in the afternoons and meet other guests and locals/expats. The bar closes at 7pm so it isn't noisy at night. The rooms were fantastic with AC, a kitchenette and netflix. We actually came back here a week after our first stay we enjoyed it so much.

It would be great if the bar did nachos. We used the hotel next door for some tour bookings as we struggled getting the tour we wanted booked through Ocean Breeze, they may just be more selective with tour agents

Room has exceptionally modern amenities - including Alexia controlled AC! 5K flat screen TV. Room decorated very pretty, very clean, pretty view. Nice small swim pool and cordial bar. Property security safe at night.

Have to walk between houses and hotels to reach this hotel or to get to the Main St. Room very small.

The room had a really nice, clean, beachy feel. We appreciated Craig showing us to our room and it felt like a very comfortable atmosphere. The hotel is right on the water and we had a shared balcony space with the other surrounding rooms. The air conditioner worked wonderfully and the tv was great after a long day of outdoors exploring. The location was right on a boardwalk with lots of food options and little shops.

We were a bit confused about where to go when we arrived because there was a hotel there called Brisa Oceana so we weren't sure if this was the same room. When we had the address in google maps, it was bringing us over to the water but we didn't know how to get over there. We did message the check-in staff and they answered very quickly though to come and get us at the front and walk us back.

rooms are big. everything’s you need is there. good quality linens. the bar is a local spot as well as guest. great way to get local feel. lots of chairs and shade if desired. well maintained beach. staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

small challenge is need to haul bags from car drop to hotel. perhaps hotel could arrange porters for a fee for those that need

Very clean, very nice, everything was up to date and well done. The bed was very comfortable. Beautiful property with a beautiful and clean beach. Everything is very aesthetically pleasing, which I absolutely loved. Friendly and helpful staff. Having a bar on site is always a plus! Easy , short walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops.

My only complaint is about the AC. it is controlled by Alexa and it drove me nuts. There was no way to tell what settings you were actually using (fan speed, auto, etc). It also would randomly turn off, sometimes in the night, which was very inconvenient. I had it set to 64 but it never actually got that cold, so the nights were a bit hot.

the nice location and the great view. The room was nice and comfortable. It met all our needs.

No parking. Parked a few blocks away on the street and it was safe.
