The room was clean and comfortable. The beautiful, decorated towels on the bed and in the bathroom were really a nice touch. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. It was nice to have a restaurant and a small gift shop right down stairs in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and definitely, the only reason I would stay there again. I also liked that it wasn't to far away from the Mayan ruins.

I was very disappointed with the location. It was smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Most of the main attractions of the country were about 2 hours away from the hotel. The rough rugged road to get to the hotel was horrendous. Parking was a little up the road. So, you had to walk down the very rocky road through the dust to get to the hotel. The car was very dirty because of the dust that was produced by driving down the road.

This resort was stunning. It was all open air in the lounge area. You pre select all your meals which makes it so convenient! The bartender that was on site was so friendly. The pool and dining area over look the river which was so fun to go down and swim in! The rooms are so pretty with tons of windows to open up and see the view. Obsessed with this place!

at first the reservation for eating but once I got used to their operation loved it and appreciated that being a small operation away from the hustle and bustle you can’t have all American comfort and thats okay.

Staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and peaceful. There was an issue with our original room and they happily upgraded us at no cost to make sure we were happy. Appreciate the customer service!

Wonderful location on the river, lovely staff! The hotel was so helpful to arrange great tours and rides for us. We loved watching the animals on the property and really enjoyed the food there! Highly recommended!

The weather could have been better but even with the river rising it was still a wonderful experience.

We loved the location, being outside of town but easy to access town. With the location you get privacy and nature with only a 15 minute taxi drive into town. We typically took a taxi into town for dinner but they do serve dinner at the property.
