Good location with beach access at 50 meters. Good breakfast.

Building activities in the adjacent building, which made having a coffee outside or reading a book quite a challenge. Although advertised as having a balcony, the superior rooms are connected with an outside corridor and have an outside table and two chairs. Rooms have a big glass sliding door entrance. Depending on the room location, you could have a lot of foot traffic passing along your room which do not give a lot of privacy. (Ask for a room at the end of the corridor,.room 207).

The staff is friendly and welcoming. While Blue Marlin is not near the city center, its location is quite nice due to the nearby Geriba Beach. The pool and sauna are great. They have a pool table for entertainment. Everything is kept clean, outside areas as well. Breakfast was good. Reasonably-sized fridge in room to store drinks.

Walking to/from our room in the back required crossing patios of other rooms. This felt a bit invasive at times.

Based upon the map and the description, we thought it was actually on the beach or as close as you could get, but it turns out it was on the other side of the road and they had no direct entry to to beach.

What a wonderful place! Location was ideal, right off the beach, very easy to walk to. Several restaurants within walking distance. We had a car, and even though the property offers parking, some rooms (basic) do not come with parking. However, there's a parking lot on the corner that offers daytime parking, and there's free overnight street parking. My friends and I stayed in the basic rooms, which were located towards the back of the property. They didn't come with a little veranda area like most of the rooms had, but we were perfectly happy with the rooms. The rooms were simply decorated, but had everything you need (fridge, fan, air conditioning, nice hot water shower, comfy beds). The buffet breakfast was also better than expected, lots of options, quickly filled by the hotel staff. Speaking of the staff, they were great! Very friendly, from the front desk, to the wait staff in the restaurant, to the cleaning staff. Will definitely look to staying here if/when back in Buzios.

The place is clean, the staff is amazing and friendly and the location is perfect, very close to Geriba Beach.

I stayed at the ground floor and there was a lot of noise from the people outside and from the top floor. I could hear the steps from the people walking, phones beeping and even the sounds from the toilet. So, unfortunately this was the bad part.
