Very friendly staff. They helped me to organise shuttle from Rio airport to the hostel and welcomed me warmly when i arrived slightly frustrated from the long trip. The place has very relaxed, chill & friendly vibe. They are located 5min walk from the beach and recommended an excellent surf school - Geriba Surf School! I'd say it's a cool surf hostel. Would stay here again! It was even possible to get a relaxing massage from a professional therapist at the hostel and borrow equipment for snorkeling. I was staying in a private room with 5 beds (good for storing stuff) and private bathroom.

There was a bit of weird humid smell in my room that i couldn't get rid of with ventilation.

This hostel has one of the best atmospheres that I have ever experienced. It has a huge garden with a bar and a pool, where everyone gets together. This gives it a very familiar vibe. The owners are great, help you with everything and will be your best friends in a couple of hours. This was the first place where we went when we first arrived in Brazil and we will come back here every time that we can. Highly recommend.

Nice hostel, good location and the staff were very nice

The common areas are nice and the kitchen well equipped. Good value for money! Praia Geribá in walkable distance.

The 14 person room is a bit much.

The managers and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful, already worth visiting for the people working there! Beautiful garden and nice pool and hammocks.

Facilities are very nice for a hostel. Swimming pool, tv, bar, garden…

It was a really cute place. They had a really nice outside area where you could hang out and chill. It also felt quite secure, there was a coded gate that was closed at night times. Also they did the best pizza crust snacks there, honestly highlight of my stay hahah

Only one bathroom in the building I was staying in and it got filthy at times and was really smelly sometimes. You have to walk around outside to get to the other bathrooms where there are multiple showers and toilet cubicle. It is also a bit far from everything else, maybe a good 45-60 minute walk to the main bit in Buzios.

- good location close to the main beaches! - nice communal outdoor area with pool and bar - good Wi-Fi in all areas - small shop and restaurant on the same street and 10 minute taxi to the main town

- dorms were slightly small for 9 people - only 4 of the large lockers in the dorms were accessible - others were blocked and unusable

The bedrooms and bathrooms need updating. Especially the bathroom sucks and there is always a lot of smell
