We enjoyed our stay at Casa Cactus very much. First and foremost, the entire staff were very welcoming, caring, and kind. Gabriel, the owner, is a true gentleman and was very kind to my family. We arrived early and he kindly offered to look after our belongings, allowed us to change for the beach, and even offered us a little breakfast cake. The pool at the hotel was much better than we had anticipated. Nice size for the kids to play with plenty of comfortable sitting on the large surrounding patio. The breakfast was a real highlight - fresh fruit, freshly baked Pau de Quijo, and made to order Omelettes! The gardens were very nice and well cared for. They even labeled the flowers and trees to help us learn about the Fauna of the property.

We felt the beds could have been a little more comfortable - of course this is a personal preference. In addition, the AC unit was a little older and maybe not as efficient as it could have been.

Casa Cactus is a lovely hotel. Very cozy, with great outdoors, peaceful and quiet. Not too far away from the center of Buzios, but not close either. However, it is a 5min walk to the beautiful Tartaruga Beach. Gabriel, Cesar and Lucas were great, attentive, available to all our needs and Gabriel went above and beyond giving us a lift to the bus station. Super clean and comfortable rooms, and great breakfast overlooking the garden. I would definitely come back and recommend it!

Very cozy, clean, walking distance from one of the best beaches of Buzios. Excellent pool and caipirinha. Great overall experience.

Nature is cool, but there were too many dangerous bugs, insects…

Very good location to the beach (5 mins walking distance), very peaceful and beautiful common area. The rooms were exactly as described.
