The pousada is amazing just a 10 minute walk to the city center and really close to the Rio Preguiça, where you can swim if you’d like. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options including fruits, juices, and different types of bread. There’s also a swimming pool, small but very nice and some lovely areas to relax. I highly recommend it.

Some of the rooms where quiet noisy during the night but nothing to crazy.

The hotel is very cute, nice garden, nice "beachfront" at the river with beds and hammocks and a nice pool. Breakfast was very good and the room nice. The location of the hotel is also good, close to the center, approximately a 5 minute walk.

Unfortunately, the bathroom wasn't that clean with lots of hair in the shower, but everything else was good.

Beautiful location, very friendly staff. Delicious and plentiful breakfast (tip: you have to order tapiocas and cuscuz, these are not readily available). Lunch prepared by them was also fantastic! Great pool area, even better river beach! What a wonderful stay. Thank you, Pousada do Rio!

I wish they had shared at check-in that we’d have to request a hammock and tapiocas at breakfast. We missed out on those on our first day!

The rooms were very clean and spacious with great air conditioning. The staff was incredibly helpful and the location by the river is beautiful.

It's a bit far from the center so walking around at night the lighting wasn't always great but the area is very safe.

Nice property located by the river with pool & garden to enjoy. Good sufficient bkfst. Rooms have balcony to enjoy. The property is well maintained & safe. Lovely cats around.

Bathroom could use a bit of renovation. No kayak or tubes to enjoy the river but we enjoyed swimming in the river.
