We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Pousada. It feels like being in the middle of a forest, surrounded by nature. The facilities were good, and the room was just like in the pictures. Often, we would leave for breakfast, and by the time we returned, the room had been cleaned and refreshed. I loved the breakfast, it was delicious! You can usually request freshly cooked items like fried bananas, scrambled eggs, and tapioca, which were a delightful touch. Adrian's family was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, ensuring we felt well cared for throughout our stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would gladly return to Pousada Aquarela.

Aquarela has three great advantages. The first is the location. It is situated 100 meters from the main street. Close to all cafes, restaurants and beaches and at the same time in peace, tranquility and greenery. The second is the excellent staff. The Argentine hosts are friendly, hospitable and helpful in all matters. Once in the rain we talked about life for an hour, and these are the rare people who can listen. The third is the monkeys who regularly visit the hotel for breakfast. We even managed to feed them bananas once. Well, the bonus track: from 16 to 23, the most delicious beer on the island is poured here.

You still have to climb 10-20 stairs to your room. It wasn't a problem for us, but consider that if you mind some training.

Everything was perfect. The room was cozy, surrounded by an exuberant greenery. Delicious breakfast, with local food and juices. Also, during the evening, the restaurant works as a pub, with excellent music and beer. But the best part was the staff. Adrian (the owner) and his family are adorable. We spent a great time talking about the island and life in general. I strongly recommend it to everyone.

Really nice Pousada. Very green and quiet. Convenient location. The owning family (from Argentina) is really nice and helpful. Nice restaurant and cerveceria with great selection on the premises.

Could have been cleaner, especially in the bathroom. But overall ok. We could not get a morning coffee to enjoy in our room / on our terrace which was a pity as we enjoy a slow morning (only allowed in breakfast area and no machine in room).

The staff is incredible, they made us feel home. They gave us a lot of tips about places to visit and helped us to sort out everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing and at night they have a brewery with delicious craft beers and empanadas. The location is perfect, walking distance to town and all beaches and in a quiet area surrounded by trees. We absolutely loved our stay! Definitely coming back

A very pleasant place, far enough to relax but just a few steps from everywhere. Beach 1-2 are about 10 minutes walk, back 4 is around 30 minutes but worth it. The room is nice, clean, comfy and has everything you need. There are a few stairs to climb. The family run place is excellent, breakfast is convenient and the owners are extremely friendly. This place is highly recommended.

Amazing family run pousada that is near the centre and beaches but far enough away to be calm. The breakfast is fit for an English king or queen, it was so big I never needed to eat lunch!! It was like staying in a big family house and they looked after me like a son.

Fantastic location, walking distance to all main beaches of this incredible island. The staff deserves a 10 out of 10 for their friendliness and kindness.. I loved in particular the sensation of peace and tranquillity immerse in the nature. Homemade breakfast is definitely a plus. I recommend Pousada Aquarela A LOT. I am sure I'll come back.

Better than the pictures! Amazing breakfast! Lovely staff! Great location! We loved to stay there! I was working remotely during my period there and can confirm the internet connection is super fast and reliable! Would def come back!

We were absolutely delighted with this accommodation, which is located just outside the main tourist routes, yet only an eight-minute walk away - and this makes a big difference in terms of tourist noise and distraction. Moreover, we found ourselves in a tropical idyll that exists naturally only a short distance away from the center of activity. Here, we were able to comfortably retire and relax romantically after our daily activities. However, when we had energy, we could quickly access the center and main beaches. The hospitality of Adrian and his team was outstanding - we travel a lot, and our stay here ranks in the top three stays ever. We have rarely felt so comfortable. This is also due to the fact that the entire property is built with sustainability and environmental compatibility in mind, and we particularly recommend this accommodation to travelers who value leaving as little ecological footprint as possible. However, it's a give-and-take, and classic tourists may not appreciate this and might be overwhelmed here. Last but not least, as a beer lover, I also appreciated the selection of exclusive beer varieties on the premises. Anyone who knows the difference between a mainstream beer and a craft beer knows what I'm talking about. The serving of a variety of regional craft beers complements the property very well and enhances the overall experience. They use the breakfast area as a public dinner and craft beer area from 6 pm onwards. They serve the best empanadas we have ever had inside and outside of Argentina.
