This is a beautiful hotel with a rich history! The lady who checked us in late in the evening was incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke perfect English, which is quite rare in Brazil. The rest of the staff was equally professional and kind throughout our stay. The room was very spacious—no view, but super comfy. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked quickly. However, the only downside was that the hot water in the shower took forever to flow. Breakfast was delicious, though it could have offered more vegetarian options. Overall, it was a fantastic experience right in the heart of the city!

This hotel was a last-minute decision because of the fiasco at our original reservation in Petropolis. We were so happy we decided to move to this place, otherwise, our trip to Petropolis would have been a total disaster.

Everything that the previous location was not. This hotel was a godsend and we definitely would return to this hotel if a trip to Petropolis is in our future. The breakfast alone would have been a reason to return to this place.

This is a great hotel. And at a very fair price. The location is perfect, it's spotlessly clean, the staff is wonderful, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Highly recommended!

Small detail, but the parking garage is very far away, so when the valley goes to get the car, it takes about 10 or 15 minutes to bring it back. But just a small detail, we loved it here!

Gym is open only from 9am and the treadmill wasn’t working. Short room for breakfast. Narrow space between table that make this experience stressful and uncomfortable.

Room should have Iron, water heating kettle, and WiFi range was not enough to reach the working table inside the room.

Beautiful hotel from the 1930s, vintage entrance hall, clean room, great location.

Breakfast was ok but the orange juice was really watery and tasteless. Pão de queijo wasn´t great either.

Breakfast in the hotel was good, but in other hotels in this area I ate better. The localization from one side is good, because it is close to the main street, shops and good restaurants, but it is very noisy and there were problems with parking a car even for short time to remove luggage and give car keys to the hotel staff.

My room was close to the fitness center and it was very long and narrow causing not enough space for working while sitting on the desk. I did not like also noisy and crowded area.

Best location in town, in front of the Imperial Palace. Charm of an historic building fully renovated hotel with modern amenities. Valet parking. Great breakfast
