This was our fourth stay here, second time in room 14. Great localization, excellent service, very clean rooms. The bathroom has a bath, although too big, its a great bath. Very good LG air conditioner. And of course the hotel itself is a pleasure to stay in, the ambient is excellent. Scrambled eggs served fresh at the table on request.

Bread from breakfast could be tad bit fresher with some more options, like whole wheat bread. The gym has a single very simple weightlifting machine, it does the job I guess but it truly is simple.

Excellent central location. Couldn't be better. Walking distance to most places of interest around Petropolis. All the central areas have a grand feel to them justifying its description as an imperial city. Beautiful hotel immaculately presented in grand style. Excellent breakfast which we had on a balcony. The staff were very helpful. Plentiful parking. Could easily spend time lounging around the hotel and even in the elegantly styled very spacious rooms.

Everything was fine. Perhaps a few coffee pods for the coffee machine would be good

The only hick up about our stay was that were not able to get into our room at the time of check in. It took the staff of the hotel over two hours to offer us another accommodation since the one we had rented was still being cleaned. We went to lunch, came back, went for a walk, came back. Only then they gave us an upgrade to a different room, which was great.

Great athmosphere of old building with a lot of history. I had a very big room arranged in the old style, even with fire place. There was a lot of places to keep my s things in the room. The breakfast is also located in old style building and it is very good. There is a lot of place around hotel to park a car. The hotel staff help in all needs.

The room where I stayed was pretty dark and during rain it was humid. It was not equipped with heating. It was also pretty noise (road trafic and people walking in and out hotel.

The location was the best thing about it. First, they put us on the annex that looked like it used to be the coach house or something. it was deplorable, full of mold in the bathroom, basically no furniture in a huge room and a big bubble on the floor that made us trip all the time. After we complained, they moved us to the main house and it was much, much better. Breakfast was so mediocre that my husband chose to have breakfast at bakeries nearby even though it was included in the price. I grew up in Petropolis and staying at the Casablanca Hotel used to be symbol of status and prestige. I was sorely disappointed.

The property is a beautiful old house right next to the imperial palace. Very big rooms and really nice. Breakfast was good and the staff were very nice as well. Parking on site and within walking distance of bars and restaurants and all the other places of interest.

The hotel is localized in the historical center and in very safe place. Very nice old building. Friendly personel. Possibility of chosing a room after seeing couple options. Very tasty breakfast. Parking with a lot of space.

Crowded street in some hours. Difficult to get to the hotel by car. Not cleaned pool. Rooms from the side of road are noisy. No possibility of heating in air condition.

Hotel Casablanca Imperial is right in the heart of the historical centre in Petrópolis. Major attractions are within walking distance. The hotel facilities are very clean and the building is well maintained keeping the historical features which make this property very charming.

comfy beds, beautiful building with a historic vibe and helpful staff - we came for a festival and they were very helpful in arranging transportation! decent breakfast but nothing to write home about

the building is old so the shower in the bathroom was not fantastic. also you have to buy water at the front desk instead of having it stocked in the mini fridge in the room

I liked the room, the breakfast was perfect ! The location is excellent ! The garden is very beautiful.

When we arrived there were no parking spaces available. I was really upset. I only book hotels with a parking lot. After 20 minutes they found a space. I think they removed staff cars and I was able to park my car. The rooms are beautiful, great space, the bathroom is very spacious but the towels are old.
