The staff is nice and friendly, the size of the room and the option to have a separated room for work. The balcony was very nice and I enjoyed a lot.

The breakfast was good but nothing special for the price. Every day, the same food is without any innovation or local food. The room was good, but the door to the balcony was hard to open, and the furniture had wasted parts. The small lights were very poorly installed. The location is terrific but unsafe; the hotel association should pressure the mayor and Governor to make the city safer and friendlier for tourists. The paid parking is annoying. The high price we pay for the stay should cover this expense. My partner had a wrist chain lost after the cleaning person did the cleaning.

The room was spacious and the balcony facing the ocean was a hugh plus. I got to see the sunrise every morning, and the shark-infested beach was a lovely view as it was never crowded. It's located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood, but a bit distant away from the center or the popular touristic areas.

The switches of the light didn't work very well. One of my reading lights was unfunctional, but the hotel didn't fix it during our 3-day stay. The kettle was a nice surprise as not many hotels in Brazil provide it, but ours wasn't functional (the kettle didn't stop by itself when the water was boiling). Breakfast was good, but it lacked variety.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Light airy rooms. Breakfast buffet standard choices , fruit, eggs etc. Lunch menu good. Beds were comfy.

Bathroom very small, no drawers in room to put things. Pool area very small only 2 sun loungers. Although hotel is situated halfway along beautiful Boa Viagem beach , it is not possible to swim on the beach because of sharks. Visit recife for the old town and Olinda but go to beaches an hour or so down coast such as Porto de Gallinhas where you can swim.

For those wishing to stay at Boa Viagem, the hotel location is very convenient. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast was has a relatively wide variety of options, including hot dishes (omelette and tapioca). The personnel was consistently pro-active whenever I had to deal with them.

Nothing important worth mentioning. I only missed a “true” expresso for breakfast but this is not specific to this hotel. (most hotels in Brazil offer only an industrial coffee dispenser machine which never has the strength and taste of a “true” expresso).

The breakfast buffet is excellent and very Brazilian: sweet potatoes, lots of cakes, fresh fruit, omelets & tapiocas to order When I brought a concern to the attention of the front desk: the toilet seat was not the correct size, resulting in slipping, it was corrected in a matter of hours The staff understands flight schedules do not always match hotel schedules, and will attempt to accommodate late-check-out requests

The open-atrium concept leads to a 24-floor sound pipe if there are wailing infants or loud returning partners in the lobby, the sound carries a long way up

Everything!!! All Staff members, Room very clean and great size with a beautiful view of the beach,breakfast was delicious, And a shout out for the Ladies that make tapioca..they are wonderful. Overall was a great experience. Definitely I do recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good Hotel.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Great breakfast with the option of ordering warm tapiocas and dishes with eggs, made by a chef in front of you!

Someone who was not staying at the hotel was allowed at the pool and she brought a huge speaker and played loud music, killed the atmosphere at the pool for people who just wanted to relax in the sun.

Very spacious room. Located next to the beach (be mindful though with swimming, it is the most dangerous place of Brazil in terms of shark attacks). Very friendly staff, great breakfast.

It can be hard to find help in English, but the receptionists do speak English well. I felt a bit unsafe around the hotel at night, would recommend Uber for most transfers. Wifi isn’t super strong

The location across from the beach was fantastic, with several restaurants in walkable distance. The room was big, and comfortable.

The pool was a little disappointing, quite small compared to the size of the hotel. That said, if you’re more of a beach goer then it shouldn’t bother you.

Staff was all great but I must mention Cleiton and Marcela who went always the extra mile to guarantee we had a fab stay. Location was great, food too. Some issues with the lifts being refurbished making the trips up and down a bit cumbersome but that was detail. All very good!
