Novotel Marina Recife is a new beautiful hotel with seaview rooms from the big balconys. The breakfast is great including gluten and lactose free and a widerange of products. Rooftop bar with swimmingpool and music. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. All very modern with design and clean.

The neighboorhood around is shabby and can be dangerous, so if you want to go to Marco Zero and Recife Antigo, even though its at walkingdistance they advise you to take a cab or uber. There is a wellness spa so i went for a facial. The woman was coughing and sniffing above me which i did not find very hygienic or comfortable.

I stayed at Novotel Recife for a week and really enjoyed my experience. The room design and the beautiful sea view were amazing! It was definitely worth paying extra for an upgrade to a sea view rather than a city view, as the city side overlooks a busy street. The location was great, close to São José Market, where I had an authentic Recife experience. The pool area is stunning, with great views and good service. The gym, modern lobby, and stylish balcony made my stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, with great variety and high-quality options.

Sometimes in the early morning, the background music on the rooftop was a bit too loud for meditation, but it wasn’t a big issue.

The roodtop area including pool and gym was excellent! The bed was confortable. I really enjoyed the spacious balcony with seaview. Some staffs were excellent - especially Ana Clara from reception and Silvio from bar were remarkable - thanks so much for all your kind assistance!

Many staffs did not speak English - gave many misunderstandings regarding ordering of food and drinks and not least transportation - e.g. my taxi to the airport had not been booked.

One of the towels was stained and housekeeper didn't replace a hand towel. The location of the phone code to find the hotel services was on a bedside table in a dark corner and was difficult to to find! Should have been stuck to table by window!

Roof top pool, gym, nice breakfast - really comfortable bed and a broad selection of pillows. Nice staff

Most staff did not speak English. It took very long for the restaurants to prepare the food - even with few other guests - we often waited an hour for the dishes we ordered.

Great new hotel opposite the historic part of Recife with excellent marina. Super buffet breakfast with omelette station.

Unfortunately pool not clean enough .. Location on the rooftop is fabulous but the water quality failed yesterday and I was ill 6 hours after swimming in it (I swim not dip!)

There should be a complimentary water on arrival or at least some offered at the time of check-in at this level of Hotel. Parking is a problem if you do not want to give your car to be driven by parking staff.

This hotel is bliss - incredible views, great food, rooftop pool is heaven and the staff are so lovely. Rooms spacious with really great showers, nice location. I can't wait to return.

no kettle in the room for making tea but i think this is standard in Brazil.

The location has good views over the marina, but you will need a taxi even to get to a beach.
