I was looking for a quiet place to spend a week relaxing while also having a great base to explore Salvador and its surroundings. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is superb—very safe and surrounded by excellent bars, restaurants, and beautiful beaches. While the historic center is about an hour’s pleasant stroll away, it’s easily reachable by taxi or Uber in just 15 minutes. Breakfast was delicious, though it could get a bit crowded at times. The staff was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always ensuring everything was perfect for my stay. One of the highlights was the pool and pool bar, the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the view over the bay was simply magical. Overall, this was the ideal place for both relaxation and exploration and I would definitely stay here again.

As mentioned, breakfast could be a bit crowded at times. Additionally, while the hotel is overall very comfortable, some areas might benefit from a future renovation—the room was spacious and cozy but showed slight signs of age. The only minor inconvenience was that my room was directly in front of the lifts, so there was occasional noise from the corridor. However, this was a very small detail, and the stunning view from my room more than made up for it!

Great view from the balcony towards the sea. The hotel is close to the local beach, lots of stores and shopping center nearby. The location is between Rio Vermelho and Pelorinho so it is easy to get to the local tourist places. Nice bar/restaurant by the pool area. The hotel also has a gym that we used. The area has a lot of police presence, usually a police car is parked outside so it felt very safe.

There is some noise from the beach and the neighborhood bars, however they calm down around 22.00 so there was never any problem to sleep etc. The hotel has a simple interior and is a little old and worn, but everything works and is clean and all right.

Good breakfast. Perfect location. Very nice pool area. Small gym was plus. Beautiful view from a hotel room, we had a balcony with a seaview. Restaurant staff was very polite and professional.

Everything else was perfect, but when we asked for an official taxi from the reception, we were rushed into an unofficial one. I requested to have a car with the meter on and this was promised to us, but there was none in the car and the driver asked us to pay more than a regular taxi would have cost. We refused to overpay, but this experience left a bitter aftertaste to otherwise such a nice hotel stay. That, and the bathroom could have benefited from some racks to hang the towels on.

The location where you can do everything walking and the sea views from the rooms (those categories that have sea view). The beach is literally just crossing the street. The rooms and beds are really big. Really good breakfast.

The doors of the rooms are not sound proof, so you can hear all those people getting back to their rooms from parties, laughing and screaming. Also there is a bar in Forte São Diogo, next to the hotel. When they have live music you can hear it in your room as if they were next door.

Fantastic location in an area that is both safe and beautiful. There are lots of shops, bars, restaurants and things to see and do nearby. The pictures of the pool don't do it justice as it is much bigger than I'd thought. There's a plentiful range of choice for breakfast with different options on rotation all of which were interesting and good quality.the room was excellent and well worth the premium for the sea view. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is spotlessly clean.

Hotel facilities and rooms are brilliant. Restaurant and pool bar staff are very professional and friendly. Mixed experience with front desk, check-in was slow and a bit disorderly but otherwise they were good. Breakfast was good and sea view room was beautiful for sunsets really comfy beds too

I have no bad things to say about the hotel. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, breakfast is more than great (and you can enjoy it by the pool), the pool is good with a bar nearby and the location is just perfect: in a safe neighborhood that is busy with bars and restaurantes within walking distance, right on the beach and just an Uber away from the main attraction. I highly recommend this hotel for those visiting Salvador!

The hotel is very well located with plenty of options nearby (restaurants, shops, cafes, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc). The beach is nice and vibrant. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

I appreciate the local cuisine but the breakfast could include healthier options. There could be more fruit, non-dairy milk, berries, etc.

Bedroom renovated and great with a beach view. Polite staff. The place does not look like much at first but it is in a great area and the place grew on us.

Could use a bit of an update in style. Lots to offer for breakfast but was not the greatest food, except the crepioca with guava and cheese made to order, yum.

The pool is really amazing, big and with different depths. Comfortable bed. There is a nice gym, quite big. The location is very popular, in the middle of the turistic area, many restaurants, bars around and the beach is in front of the hotel.

The hotel is quite old, should be renovated. The isolation is terrible, we heard everything from the street. The breakfast selection is okayish, no plant based milk options. The shower was hard to adjust and properly close. No minibar in the room and no iron or steamer available.
