Great location, lots to walk to. Excellent, helpful staff and delicious breakfast. Plenty of hot water and a decent shower, room was an adequate space.

Beds were a little firm. Expected given close to a number of restaurants/bars in the plaza, but it does get loud at night with music if you are a light sleeper.

This is great small hotel in a historical villa. Good service, nice breakfast and the interior design is just amazing.

Everything is fine, it's just important to know that the location is not central, but there are bars and restaurants in the area and it's close to the sea.

Lovely hotel in really nice safe area of Salvador with good night life n restaurants beside some nice beaches. Set in beautiful old colonial building with a beautiful architect designed modern extension with lovely gardens and courtyard's and some lovely modern art.really excellent breakfast and very very helpful staff when we lost a phone and one of our party had to cut their trip short. An excellent choice, way better than Pellegrino.highly recommended and good value.

Our duplex double room was certainly different but the downstairs was a bit of wasted space.i think the rooms in the modern extension are better

It is beautifully built with great attention to detail. I loved the tile, the patios, the breakfast, the charm and the great staff. Having the property entrance be gated and attended by staff made me feel very safe. This hotel is wonderful.

The breakfast was great, many options. I missed vegetables but there was a big variety in fruits in compensation. All the staff were nice and attentive. The location was nice, although the beach close by wasn’t good for swimming. Restaurants nearby are great.

Traditional culture @ & architecture, well located, SMALL (not a Marano or other big impersonal hotel. Kind staff. Pedro and caretaker top shelf.

Bathroom too small. We weren’t given the double bed + single offered by booking.com and requested.

First night we got in a room that was a bit too noisy because of the AC ventilation. It was fixed as we changed room the next day

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and large and the breakfast was great.

It can sometimes get a little loud in the evenings and sound travels easily

This is a charming small hotel. The beautifully restored original building has five meter ceilings, the new wing is attractively designed. Lovely small courtyard with attractive plants, and two really nice open gardens in front. The neighborhood is quite lively, some good bars and restaurants, and less than a minute walk to the beach.
