Comfy, spacious room, located on the promenade of Salvador (not too far from the lighthouse). There's a fridge in the room, great for keeping drinks cool, as well as an aircon. Spacious and clean, I could rest well here.

The location is fantastic and staff members were receptive and accommodating.
The hotel is old and in need of improvements. The electrics in our room didn't work well, there was no ventilation on our bathroom for example.

Room and hotel facilities needs a little bit of refurbishment to let the hotel be well presented and good looking.

they were nice, the room was very clean, the bed was very wide
the elevator wasn’t working and they have a bar under the hotel, so they had loud music until 11pm every night. the shower took several minutes to warm up and it was kinda clogged. And the key kept getting unmagnetized so I had to go back to the front desk everytime

The electronic keys for the room did not work, every time you wanted to access the room, you would have to ask the receptionist or the cleaner to open it for you with his key, as it was only one receptionist for the whole hotel, he would leave the reception unsecured and unattended. Lifts not working, according to the receptionist it was due to building works which it was never reported to us on the site we booked the hotel on. We made it clear at the time of the booking it was a double bed, since it gave us the option to select the bed type, then the receptionist without asking us, just booked us on twin beds. We had at last minute to leave the hotel since it not offered us what it was promised, we had to look for another accommodation adding up unexpected and unnecessary expenses! Now waiting for a refund from the service not provided. it was not a good experience.

The bed is not comfortable, there was a leak in the bathroom and the AC was very dirty.

Cleaning service every day.
My room was near to the street, very noisy. Also my window didn’t close properly and I was in the first floor, what made me afraid to leave my stuff in the room. The hotel also charges 100R per visitor, despite there’s nothing in the property policies stating that they do not allow visitors.
