Very good breakfast with an egg and tapioca station, good variety of fruits, cakes and bread. The rooms are comfortable and all staff very kind. My stay was during the carnival and the location is perfect for those who want to enjoy the party as the hotel is 2 minutes walking from the circuito barra-ondina. The area around the hotel always felt safe.

I spotted a few cockroaches in the bedroom.

Location, sea view, the sounds of the waves breaking underneath our window, the pool, the palm trees, our fabulous room, breakfast, everything about our experience! It is 15-20 mins by Uber into Pelourinho; Ubers are plentiful; an excellent option instead of staying in the centre of town

Not a dislike, just a comment: there are no bars or restaurants immediately nearby, but the hotel evening buffet was excellent value & there are others options a short taxi ride away.

Great breakfast buffet. The majority of staff was super helpful and nice, specially the pool bar staff and the tapioca chef at breakfast. Food in pool bar was average. The bedroom is great, super clean and very comfortable. The view is amazing, probably the best in town.

The bedroom could use some love. It's very old and it lacks some maintenance. They were missing fresh coconut water for 2 days, which was a bit disappointing.

the card for the door didn‘t work when kept too close to the phone or any magnet. had to be re-charged various times to get into the room. the interior is rather old.

The room was awesome and the view, stunning. I loved the breakfast and it was a 10 minute run from Farol da Barra, so you can jog along the Barra beach in the morning, it's pretty rad. The staff is very solicit, they give tips on where to eat outside and what to see on the city. Only thing I regret is not having more time to enjoy both the city and the hotel.

The room door was clumsy to close, maybe it needs maintenance. I had lunch in the hotel once and the "a la carte" option I had was very salty. The pool was very crowded, we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy it (but we did only have time to try it out in the last day).

The breakfast was amazing! The swimming pool and the ocean view from our bedroom were also really pretty The bed was big and comfortable We were happy there was also a gym

* There were only 3 irons to be shared by the whole hotel * The wait for check-in and checkout * The staff at the reception don't seem to speak English * They include sruff that you did not have at your room number. Me and the person in front of me got some surprises

Big, comfortable rooms, excellent food,the pool by the ocean was exceptional . The staff are willing and helpful, but almost nobody speaks any language but Portuguese

The hotel is in a fine neighborhood but no shops or restaurants are near. The popular neighbourhood of Barra is about half an hour's walk away, so I guess it's not a problem.!

Rooms with sea view are awesome, breakfast is one of the best I ever had, different breads, local food, international cuisine, fruits and fresh juices. Very comfortable, nice shower and a great bed!

I missed some facilities, there was no information regarding room service, breakfast time, pool time and etc... just a QR code to access a website that was pretty unclear. Internet was very slow. This experience is not compatible with a hotel in this category.

I had a great experience with Vila Galé Salvador, the staff was accommodating, and the amenities were great. The hotel was in a prime location, and the sea view was stunning. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. I can't wait to stay here again!

Large room, very clean. Hotel is situated in a quiet location. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Good food at reasonable prices in the restaurant. Strong WiFi.

We asked for a quiet room. However, rooms have connecting door to adjoining room and very thin walls. Every word spoken could be heard. So there was no privacy between the two adjoining rooms. Temperature of the aircon could not be regulated, only the strength of the fan.
