Hotel Amazonia Aeroporto Cuiaba: pleasant interior of the hall. Ample room with very nice bathroom, good ligthing in the room (although no separate lamps for reading), well- functioning elevator and the safety box. The location is perfect especially if you are catching a flight early in the morning – the hotel entrance is literally 100 metres away from the airport departure entrance, moreover the hotel offers free shuttle to the airport 24 hours/day. Furthermore, shopping mall with cinema and a large supermarket are practically across the road. I informed the receptionist about the scam that I fell victim to on a tour to Pantanal, and the receptionist appeared to have taken it seriously (it was a serious mater).

Wi-fi often was often interrupted in the room. The hotel is far from the best bars in Cuiaba, e.g. it's about 20-25 minutes drive from the Hookerz Beer Bar. On the othe hand, the noise from the outide traffic is significant. Most importantly, the hotel staff failed to give me a wake up call at 3 AM as we agreed (I even put it in writing so that there is no confusion), and I almost was late for the flight check in even though I was so close to the airport – how come such simple task is not fulfilled in a 4* hotel?

The proximity to the airport was great. There was no need for the shuttle, as it is a 5 minute walk to the Marechal Rondon Airport in Cuiaba. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Varzea Grande Shopping Centre with a variety of restaurants and stores, and diagonally across the excellent Comper supermarket, with a large variety of items. The room is extremely modern, with a comfortable bed, and a great shower. Breakfast, served in the area next to the lobby, was also adequate. Myself and my group also made use of the bar area next to the pool, which was great.

The stay was excellent, and if I had one very minor gripe, it would be the view from my room. It overlooked the 2 silos nearby, in the direction of the airport. As I was only there for a short period, it did not really bother me, as the hotel facilities and proximity to the airport were amazing.

We were really impressed with this airport hotel. One of the best we've stayed in, especially for value for money. We did the pre-check in emailed to us prior. We walked from the aiport to the hotel in about 5 minutes (walk out of departures, cross the street at the crossing - don't go to the car park - walk to the left and follow the path around to the right all the way to the crossing directly opposite the hotel). On the way back to the airport, the concierge noticed we were walking and got the van and dropped us off. There was 1 english speaking staff member in reception and in the restaurant. Otherwise, Google translate worked well. We stayed here before and after our Pantanal tour. Excellent location with a 3 level mall right accross the road. Very comfortable room. Modern. Great rooftop restaurant. Breakfast had plenty of options. Highly recommended.

No english TV channels (that was all the hotels we stayed in Brazil) but wifi was fine for Netflix on the laptop. Any information at all about the airport transfer accessibility would have been helpful.

The hotel was very nice overall. As in many places in Brazil, no one spoke any English so it is necessary to have a translation app on your phone. The staff was all very nice though! It is within a short walk of the airport which was super convenient!

I asked where the restaurant was and they sent me to an outside bar…..I figured that is the only restaurant they had. I ate dinner there. It was not good. I came back to the airport a week later and saw that they the whole top floor is a restaurant! What?? Translation problem I’m guessing.

No internet in our room: they did offer us another room, but we did not have the energy for the change as we spent only one night. Especially for foreigners with no unlimited mobile data they should not have given us that room. And a hotel boosting high speed internet should have it in each and every room

We arrived at night and had to leave early the next morning to continue our journey, which is why we chose this hotel. It’s located right across from the airport — we walked there in under 10 minutes. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety. The staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming. A top choice for us!

Clean, bright Rooftop pool with ocean views at sunset spectacular. It’s not open til 8a so you can’t take sunrise photos, sadly. Peek around the corner and you’ll see Christ the Redeemer lit up on Corcovado Mt! I got scammed by a taxi driver and the desk people were very helpful (NEVER DO TAXIS, ONLY UBER LIKE THE LOCALS)

The breakfast service needs training. I had a problem with my credit card. I used it once during my trip at this hotel, and I had a problem after someone used it to buy more than $10K in trips on cruise lines. I asked my bank to cancel it and block the charges. I'm still waiting for the answer, but somehow, my card was scanned. I'm afraid this hotel has a problem with storing CC info.

The location is very to close to the airport and a big shopping center. Room is very clean.

Communication to the staff was very hard. I think it is more a language barrier. When we sent a message to ask a transportation from airport to the hotel, nobody response. Luckily, it is very close so that we walked to the hotel instead.

Everything I could have asked for. Right across the road from the airport, 3 mins walk maybe max. They provide free airport transfer anyway so handy if you have big bags and want to avoid the heat. Great breakfast, great pool, super clean. Stayed a second time and added an extra day as it was a real oasis.
